The XBox version does work on PS5, but you have to have the donlge in PC mode and you have to use the USB-A to USB-C adapter to go into one of the rear ports only. Wild, but it works. For those asking about a DAC/Amp - I'm currently working on a video about just that, but in the meantime, I use an ifi Zen Dav v2 as my daily on my gaming desk. It will run 90% of the headphones you'll encounter, has a low power mode for IEMs, and has a really quality bass boost dsp button for headphones you may find lacking. I'll link it in the description if you're able to snag one cheap for the holiday sales.

Happy to know that you had a collab with Joe. I watch both of your videos and that’s what made me decided on the Maxwell. No regrets so far. I also daily drive Sony XM4 but as soon as the AirPods Pro 2 came up, I got that and that has been my daily driver. XM4 eartips wasn’t a perfect fit, after a while, it hurts one of my ear and also had issue with the battery. Pro 2 has been rock solid so far and it’s a good all rounder for a iPhone and iPad user like myself

Something that never gets talked about when it comes to earbuds, and the deciding factor for me when I went with the Sony WF-1000XM5s, is multi-point connection. I can be gaming on my PC at 6:00am and seamlessly grab my phone and start streaming music for my morning walk without touching a single setting or removing the earbuds.

560s is my go to for everything, pc38x and tygr 300r are both good and still in use at work but the 560s is my daily driver for music and gaming.

Ultrasone bass has always had a special place for me. I still treasure my Ultrasone Pro 2900 and its amount of bass for an open back. I'd still be using them if the foam hadn't completely deteriorated.

I wish Sennheiser would make a closed back version and wireless version that is similar to the HD560s. I have the 569's now and they're amazing, just wish they were wireless.

Hey Badseedtech, you should try buying foam tips for your airpod pro gen 2. I've been daily driving them with foam tip for a year now and it's soo much better then the silicon tip, it seals better and it fits better, I can wear them to the gym even on my cardio day. Only downside is you need to be careful when you put them back in the case as they sometimes are not making contacts with the charging pins so you need to fiddle with them a bit.

The best budget alternative to the Zero Red under 50 is the Simgot EW200.

I got that nova 7x last week at best but for $159.99 and I love these, as good a sound as my hyperx cloud alpha with even better positional accuracy

I would love to have a wireless pair of cans for gaming, are Maxwells going to pale by comparison to the hd800s? I mean I know the answer is obviously, but is the difference massive? How is the transparent mode on the Sony XM5s? I don't even have an iPhone, but I got the Airport Pros 2 just because I immediately loved the transparency mode on them when I first heard it. Its so good. NC and Sound quality can be compared, but the transparent mode is on a whole other level

For ones that don't like glossy, grab some nail polish remover and wipe it. It removes the clearcoat. 👍

If you have trouble keeping the AirPods Pro 2 inside your ear try the spin fit eartips. They have a little bit more grip than the original ear tips.

Went looking for budget IEMs wasn’t disappointed.

Try iems with pressure holes. The xenns tops were really comfortable for me, and i finally was able to use them for long hours because of the holes.

I got my Audeze Maxwell at launch. Only because my Penrose broke at the swivel. The Audeze local agent gave me a trade up.... return the broken headset in exchange for the Maxwell @ a discounted price. I took the deal and have not regretted it. Unfortunately, just before I took the Maxwell, I bought an EPOS H3Pro Hybrid LOL. Now I'm stuck with 2 rather high end headset, and because the Maxwell is so good, the EPOS has just been sitting there unused

As far as airpods pro just slap some comply ear tips on them.

The kiwi ears cadenza are the absolute best budget iems. Ive tried pretty much all of them. The cadenzas compete with $2-300 iems easily. I prefer them over the orchestra lites.

The Audeze is stunning and so is the battery life. Combine it with a Elite 2 controller and you'll only have to charge each of them once a month.

I have many headphones. For gaming plainars produce the best soundstage and once you train you brain you can nail opponents with sound location. S12 so good for game audio!

If you like the airpod pros then i recommend the beats studio buds +. They are like the better improved version

for the truthears, blues are better for gaming while also being good for music, reds slightly better for music but not as good as blues for gaming but both are still solid choices

I think at it's current price (140€) the AKG 702 is the best option for gaming. You get a reference neutral HiFi and confortable headphone. (Of course if you don't have to worry about your surroundings because it's an open headphone).

How do the DT770pros stack up to the signature X? Are there any alternatives besides the two of those as well?

What Schiit DAC/Amp would be good around the $400-600 range that allows me to connect a microphone? I looked at the Schiit Hel but heard it is lacking in sound quality even though it has a mic input. This is my first DAC/AMP setup for gaming and enjoying high quality music outside of gaming. I am looking into DAC/AMPs that allow microphone input or having a second device for microphone routing. Best headphones for PC gaming?

How long have you had the Signature X for? A lot of reviews on Drop saying how the hinges have broken rendering them unwearable - even after apparent normal desktop usage. This is my only concern and have stopped me from purchasing them over the similarly priced and similar sound signature Meze 99 Noir/Classic.

I have a possibly stupid question for IEM lovers and enthusiasts... are there any good IEMs that have a mic? The main reason I would be interested in upgrading to IEMs is so I can use them on the go with my phone. I use my phone's 3.5mm jack every single day, and would love to pair it with IEMs... but every pair of IEMs I've seen don't have a mic, which kind of sucks for answering phone calls. Any advice is appreciated!
