I’m probably a 8 out of 10 on OCD for washing. There are some people though that make me look like a novice. 🤣

Well timed video. I have been looking into how to clean and maintain microfiber towels as well as getting some that are better quality. The ones I have is good for cleaning glass and interiors but seems to be lacking elsewhere. Haven't been trying to spend too much on my detailing products but this is one that gets a lot of use out of them. Thanks for the info and I like the drying rack idea.

If taken care of microfibers will last a long time so worth some investment. There’s areas where you can get away with budget towels and other areas where spending more is needed.

I bought the Giantex version of your washer three years ago and it's been the best investment ever. I installed a ELEY quick disconnect on the washer and purchased a braided hose to connect to the sink. I am also amazed at how well it drains the water from my detailing towels!

Most of the microfiber towels I have are from The Rag Co. The waffle weave is my favorite for doing the window's.

I just love your videos. Always look forward to new videos. I just used my first drying towel from rag company,oh my! Still learning about them,and you helped tremendously. Curious, do you wash drying towels separate?

Depends on what is to be washed. I for sure separate anything very dirty or certain chemicals. Usually though I wash them all together. It’s usually just car wash soap towels mixed in.

Excellent video on the towels Keav. Question.. when washing towels you always pre-soak towels first in a bucket with rags to riches? Then do a simple rinse, inspect towels and finally wash it in washing machine with rags to riches?

Usually if I already have a bucket of soapy water I’ll just use that to soak if they have any chemicals on them. I never toss out my soapy water since I only use one bucket and don’t introduce dirt back into my bucket. Then I rinse together with no detergent. After that I wash them with Rags to riches.

I use the chemical guys microfiber detergent. Works great. Got it on sale.

I’ve cut back. This last time I bought all these new ones and it was 20% of what I had. I had too many different ones and many were just worn out. With the washing machine I can just turn them around quick.

Hey Keav! Couldn’t help but notice you swapped out the valves for your CR spotless setup. Did the other ones end up leaking?

I changed to union valves so I could unscrew them to change filters and be able to take everything apart quickly. The previous version was all glued together and I had to saw and glue couplers if I needed to change or move something.

It’s RCA brand which years ago was a good brand, but who knows now. It’s from Amazon and was built for small apartments with no 240v hookups. You can plug it right into a normal wall socket and hook up to your sink to wash. Been working great.🤣
