That Ermac vs Kung Lao intro is basically a case of the boys trying to reunite one of them with a lost love. Either that or someone trying to deliver a dead soldier's final letter to his wife or girlfriend that didn't make it to her. Something along that line.

Considering Bo Rai Cho was an Outworlder in the original timelines, I wouldn't be surprised if she was originally from Outworld in the new timeline as well. Another reason she had a suitor from Outworld could be because she was a past champion of Earthrealm

What a terrible design Ermac has in mk1, it looks physically weak. It doesn't intimidate like the Ermac from mk9 Ermac's design from Mortal Kombat 9 will always be the best.
