Alec, you are a great teacher and make things easy to understand. I searched around KZfaq and was having a difficult time understanding basic concepts, due to my lack of software and computer skills. But thanks to your explanation and videos I was able to finally start to understand and use Ecamm Live. Also in one of your videos, you offered the grid template overlay which made things so much easier and manageable! Thank you so much for taking the time and making such a comprehensive and user-friendly video! So much appreciated!

I am having Ecamm limiting or compressing Audio from my USB audio dongle and physical sound mixer. It cuts back the sound level and makes them sound like they are in a tube. I wonder if it is the echo cancellation being checked even though the imac speakers are off and the imac mic is muted. Ecamm won't comment or offer solutions when chatting.

I have trouble getting the camera picture to show. I have cameras going through the atem mini extreme. I am using a macbook pro 2019. The macbook pro operating system is sonoma. The atem shows the camera pictures. We updated the Ecamm to the latest ecamm download. The mac is connected to atem through the Blackmagic design ultrastudio mini 3g. The ultrastudio mini shows up in Ecamm, but with no picture. We've deleted the ecamm live and redownloaded and still the ultrastudio mini 3g shows up in ecamm but camera pictures will not show up in camera scene. It is just blank. Help

Great to see all your Content 👍 Can you give me a solution for making presentations with zoom. I am doing presentations by Zoom and also record them. The problem is, if the guests are allowed to talk / ask questions. I can't give the Zoom sound to ECAMM for recording because then I will send the sound from Zoom to ECAMM and from there back to Zoom ending in an sound loop. So I think, there is no solution for that by ECAMM, isn't it. A solution I am using at the moment is to put Zoom Sound to ECAMM for recording. But my "mic" in Zoom is not the virtual ECAMM ones. Instead I use AudioHijack to mix the sound, that is going to Zoom. This works but I don't like to use more and more tools. So do you have a better / easier solution for that? That would be great. Thanks
