just got the 4k max today so I need to try that one, I'm waiting for it to arrive today , I have the 4k and yes it can replace your original remote but you will not be able to access the original menu of your TV, you will not be able to change the input either For example, switch HDMI in case you have more HDMI devices such as a PC connected. , but everything else you will be able to access, Those are the only problems I found so far. I'll tell you what's up with the 4k max once it arrives Update, Apparently in the new remotes, they already have that HDMI INPUT switch function, it is the TV button on your remote, I have the old 2020 remote in the 4k, so that is good news Update 2, I just realized that with the old remote you can change the input source with the control microphone so my final answer is, yes it can totally replace your original remote

You can also increase INTERNAL memory on the Max with an external flash drive. I see people putting 2tb of memory in!

one is 20-40$ the other is 200$+ one can be used to turn any shit tv or projector into smart one, the other is full of latency issues when it comes to gaming so idk what's better at thst point
