2014 Tundra with a custom 270 amp. Factory speakers but I want to upgrade the entire system. Budget is open. I want more base and still have balance. Currently have a Rockford Fosgate amp with 2 12" subs that I've kind outgrown. I want to keep the box but upgrade the subs as well. Im looking into DS18 for the brand to stick with but want to know yalls opinion

How do I fix my car audio? When I have my music up at any level my sound distorts then will rise and lower by itself and then completely cuts out and then sound comes back but just sound bad. I have a 12 inch sub with a 1000 watt amp and I have pioneer speakers and deck install with a pioneer premier sub and mb quarts amp. It’s a 2000 Ford Taurus. I’m running the 1000 watt wiring kit from Walmart and I need help on how to fix it. Please and thank you…

I have a bunch of questions, first I have two different amps and I would like to know which amp would be best for my truck as I have speakers subs and interior and exterior leds, the one that I am currently running is a focal 5 channel amp, but I am wanting to know if my 3500 watt kicker comp amp would be more efficient in running the same thing, the current setup that I have is giving me impedance through the subs, I haven’t really tuned my focal amp to the right settings is what I believe, but would it be possible to setup the Kicker comp amp and run the same applications the same way and be more efficient? Please anyone lmk, as I’m having a hard time as to what are the reasons why? Thank You 🙏

This is really a late response, but class D amps are more efficient than class A/B amps. Class D full bridge amps are more efficient than a regular (non full bridge) class D amp. So, when it comes to amperage draw, the class D full bridge amp is your friend when it comes to efficiency. Side note on full bridge amps, do not run the ohm load lower than specs. Also, they are sensitive when it comes to voltage. Low voltage doesn’t play nice with full bridge amps.

Speaker wires touched and now the amp is stuck in protection rewired everything let it sit with everything disconnected for like 30 minutes what could I do ???

Please HELP !!!!! I just had sound installed in my car and when there is a heavy deep low bass , the sub cuts out or dips eg( played the weeknd the hills , when the heavy bass comes the sub bass is gone and then comes back on the second part. Part comes again with bass and it cuts out again) the amp is IPX-9000.1 ICE POWER. sub is a 12inch Targa...Took it back to the guy and he just keeps trying to sell me more expensive things.
