I love to use a combination of items from Dollar Tree, Hobby Lobby, JoAnns, and other craft stores. But if I can think of an alternative that is at Dollar Tree I always try to let you know, even if that isn't what I use. Years ago I learned to make perfect polka dots, the first 3 dots should make a triangle, then put the next dot to make a other triangle and so on. Your mushroom turned out cute any way the dots were placed.👍👍

On the gumball machine you could have used a piece of napkin & done a decoupage on the part where you put the metallic silver paint and then painted it silver, it wouldn’t have taken as many coats of paint.🙂

Love all of these pieces and will ATTEMPT to make them for my garden and patio...Could you please share what product(s) you use to remove paint from your hands and surfaces?

For my hands, I use coconut oil. It works magic when you’re using it to get spray paint off. I use a little bit of coconut oil and a nail brush. For my surfaces I use water and a sponge. If you clean up right after you’re done with your project, it works great. My table top is made from laminate flooring and that also helps.

@@FarmCharmChic Do you have experience with decorative wood cutouts from Dollar Tree? If I spray a protective layer after I paint the pieces, do you think the decoration will last for a little while? Much appreciate it!
