I love how obvious the hug at 1:27 isn’t smth like the others. They’ve never done a so called “bro hug” except for that one time. All the other times they were hugging like they would never let go and it was so emotional, but this one got them back pats like “good job man. Totally happy for you. Not gay for you at all. :)”

Anyone else notice how Oswald's style in relationships is almost "neurotypical" (of course these people have mental problems = not neurotypical) while Edward very visibly has some problems with loving? Edward has a lot of trauma while Oswald doesn't seem to be affected quite as much and if you remove the fact that Oswald has killed and is a criminal, he would be a pretty average citizien. But Edward on the other hand...... These two find a lot of comfort in being "weird" together. Their chemistry is undeniable. They can learn a lot from each other. And it seems at times: They do.

As a crazy fan of Robin's penguin, I truly feel sad for what's penguin going through. He lost his mom, lost his dad, everybody wanted to take him down and kill him. After all these things happened the only one he could still love and trust is Ed, the person who helped him in his hardest period, Oswald cares so much about Ed and was even willing to do everything for him. And then we can see what Osawald've got. A women has ruined his relationship with Ed and i was heartbroken when i saw Ed pointing Oswald with a gun and telling him "I DON'T LOVE U." (eventhough i know it was not right to kill Isabella and in this case it was understandable for Ed's action). But i still feel sad, Oswald still love Ed so much even though Ed was really trying to kill him. BTW I really hate Ed/Lee i don't know why the writers created this couple in Season 4, it really makes me angry and terribe sad and i was thinking like that when i saw S4: So Ed's gonna get his new love and friends and have a happy life but Penguin still should fight by his own against Sofia and betrayal? NOOOOOOOOO!!!! Besides, Robin's performance is absolutely remarkable. His eyes tell everything to the audiance and I really don't wanna see Robin's Penguin gets hurt in the further story. How adorable he is!!!!!! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH SO PLZ GOTHAM WRITHERS LET HIM BE TOGETHER WITH ED/RIDDLER!!!!!!

So I like to think that the Riddler is the persona of Ed that feels for Penguin. While Ed himself takes in the friendship he has with Oswald because the Riddler in the end reaches out to Penguin to break him free when Ed is with Lee. He also brings up why their friendship remains to work after killing Penn. It's likely Ed will never get over Oswald's betrayal but the Riddler will still admire him.
