Yeah my new rescues birdies aren’t totally comfortable eating pellets yet either. I make a human grade seed mix with some sprouts to make me feel a little better about it until they’re fully switched over.

So many cute animals! Always good to see them being well cared for. We introduced pellets slowly and were very picky about which ones we gave our birds. So many are full of sugar, wheat, soy, corn, salt etc.

my biggest anger towards myself is that i absolutely adore all birds (especially cockatiels), but i get sound-triggered migraines insanely easy so i wouldn't be able to deal with the constant chirps. i am u p s e t with myself

I love all your animals! I have a very packed uni schedule and my hands are tight with my puppy. He is my everything. He is an 8 months old toy poodle. I spent about 2 hours outside with him everyday (walking, training and playing fetch). We also do trick training with treats at home and sometimes on our yard. I spent a minimum of 30 minutes everyday just brushing him, cleaning his ears, removing eye buggies ... And I provide him toy puzzles for mental enrichment. I would love to take care of other animals - mostly other dogs and maybe some fish but my hands are full. I do volunteer work at the shelter instead.

My dad and I have the same tank that your boyfriend’s betta is in! We have a few neons and an african dwarf frog, there were snail eggs on our plants so we decided to keep them but once in awhile they get a bit crazy, but we’ve had the setup for quite a few years and it’s awesome!

I love this! I am a hige animal lover, but have found that I need pets that can clearly communicate their needs to me. Im a very busy person, and a scatterbrain. My family had reptiles and fish, along with many dogs as I was growing up, and I was a terrible reptile/fish owner. Its the same reason why Im not a good plant owner. If it doesnt make noise at me that it needs something, I will likely forget. Now that Im an adult and on my own, I have my dog from back home with me, and I don't think I'll ever get any pets again besides dogs (allergic to cats). I love seeing reptiles/birds/fish at other people's houses and interacting with them, but I know its not suited ro my lifestyle and Id be a bad pet mom to them. It's pretty easy to tell if my dog needs something because he sits in front of me and stares at me until I get him what he wants/needs

I love your pets so much!! so cute!!! I have a dog named Bella she an Australian Shepherd mix with Rat Terrier (Weird mix ik) shes really sweet and she loves to play fetch, she also sadly has doggy anxiety. We also have another dog named Bowzer, he is a Mini Schnauzer, He loves to play tug-o-war and loves attention, he gets jealous really easy though. We have three cats too! Ginger is more of a loner sometimes but she LOVES to be pet, she also snuggles with Lucy a lot (She is really loud too and Meows constantly) . Lucy loves to snuggle and play with toys, but her claws are REALLY sharp, even after you cut them it seems like. Molly is more like a dogs, she's hyper and plays fetch, and she thinks that attacking you is funny, she also bullys the dogs and now they are scared of her. but she can be a real sweetheart sometimes. We have a bearded Dragon as well, Her name is Buster, she is pretty laid back and chill, but She loves to be let out of her cage and run around (Dont worry we put away all the other pets) sometimes she goes outside (She's getting used to that still) We have lots of fish too, we used to have different kinds but they sadly died and now we only have a sucker fish and the 3rd generation of these orange fish, THEY KEEP HAVING BABIES!! (And were not kidding, it's the 3rd generation) And thats all the pets we have!! (so far...)

Meanwhile there is my cat (which is technically the neighbours cat) who basically adopted me when she was like 1 year. The neighbours of course know about it and are fine with it since they want her to be happy. She is also very smart and can basically live by herself when I go on vacation for a week because she is a very talented hunter. My little girl has been with me for around 8 years now and we are best friends uwu
