@@BrokeLifeEU no need you a legend it's not your fault that platform issues appear I'm happy the algorithm works sometimes n thats good so far my latest commentary didn't happen so that's KZfaq reminded to add little more einhell and Parkside are good for the build project another thing DeWalt makes tools but there is ton of videos but they make good bits there is transparent box hard case 48+ with glasses as kit has extended bits a holder how I like to say solid collection Parkside has drill cases colored plastic with rubber but hard cases usually 12 bit wood or metal and has the same black case with bits but so far DeWalt bits haven't died on me once and it been a while no sign of thear on them also one brand I haven't seen much of but they make ton of tools axes hammers saws n others plus drills n etc is TOTAL might be interesting my project brand shake out the package like there is play so maybe skip them but total so far I seen some small things at but nothing major or effecting work n it's rare to see it

I use mostly non Parkside bits and accessories on Parkside tools. The tools from Parkside are very good for the price but I don't think the same is applicable for their bits and accessories. I use Makita, DeWalt, Milwaukee etc accessories and bits with my Parkside tools and that gets the most out of them.

Damn good video. Prompts me to repurpose my first series of the green 1/4 20v team impact driver now. Taking it apart and having a look inside. That machine is think you also have modified on other videos i think i seen it. Definitely has the torque for a small ish 3/8 all rounder. I been using it with hex to square adaptors and working on the motorbike, there weren’t many screws it couldn’t undo to start with.

Thank you so much! Yes I have converted the PDSSA A1 with a 1/2 anvil that also has a magnetic slot for 1/4" bits. There are a couple different ways to go about that conversion. I also happen to have a 3/8" anvil about so I will see if that is a possible and easy conversion and I have a video on that coming up as soon as I can get the time to film the thing. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment!

On Hobby Basis I work on Cars. Im Glad I watched your Video and bought the 20v with 1/2 conversion im super happy about that. Wanted to remove lug bolts from audi a6 which Do get 140nm it couldnt remove with 4ah battery I was sad But after I put my 8ah np easily removed. I mean the 4ah Was half but is it so much difference??? İt felt like half Power or less.... Good Job mate im Glad i didnt buy this 12v shii....

Is not half, but with 8ah there are more amps so the motor will be close to max power...

Does the anvil turn freely by hand after the conversion? Because f not you need to disassemble it and take off about 1mm from the bottom of the anvil where it meets the impacting mechanism. For me both 4Ah and 8Ah batteries can undo 200Nm with no problems.

One thing Id like to you try out with the 3/8 conversion either the 20 or 12v. Can you get/find a 3/8 long impact socket in CR-Mo, as I know socket weight/quality does make a difference in impacting power
@BrokeLifeEU
@BrokeLifeEU 4 ай бұрын
I used the 3/8 anvil in the 20V PDSSAP as well. With the same type of socket in 1/2" and 3/8" form and the 1/2" won out by a lot. So I think in this case it is more down to the anvil than it is to the socket. A bigger socket will always help for sure. But this 3/8" anvil is just too small compared with the mass the 1/2" has on its side.

Sweet! Any issues with the hex driver collet binding up after use?
@BrokeLifeEU
@BrokeLifeEU 4 ай бұрын
The 1/4" was a surprise. I liked the feel of it and for a 12V impact driver I felt it had some decent power. The hex collet was a bit of a pain in the backside to assemble but in the end it somewhat worked. I think had I been less cold outside and given it a fair shot to assemble it would have been very OEM-like.

No 3/8 anvil with hex adapter? aka 3/8 stubby freak? :-( would be godsent for my work! I work on wheelchairs and motors for wheelchairs.. That combo would be awesome!

Unfortunately I don‘t think there is a way to fit a 1/4“ bit in to a 3/8“ anvil. It would be too thin and I don‘t think it will last. But I will keep an eye out! If something like that pops up I will see if I can make it happen for you!
