I don't think it is possible to do that on the Gisam. That said I have not attempted it, however it must be said that the electronics inside the Gisam are somewhere between regular Aliexpress and an actual Makita. Also you do have a point you do get a much higher quality with the genuine thing.

@@wanderer7779 Parkside is possibly the cheapest brand you could reasonably get away with purchasing. Mainly because of the warranty. @@BrokeLifeEU Yes, I would agree, convenience is a factor. Lidl counts on that. Going for casual food shopping and buy some tool for the house or flat. Although, here in Croatia, you can get it only when "seasonal" promotion is on, in other words, you can't get every parkside tool you want just going to any Lidl store. You have to wait or go trough leaflet every week and see if there is some you wanted. On the other hand, Einhell is almost like any other big tool brand. They have their own separate boot, for example in big construction or DIY store like Bauhaus. Or other smaller shop partners. Or online shopping partners. Where you go and buy any day what you need.

@@BrokeLifeEU Well it's kind of hard to answer exactly or even close enough. Because there is Parkside green and black "profi". Einhell have somewhat new 80Nm drill with /screw, hammer function that is 110euro. The 60Nm older model is just 10euro less. Using an impact wrench on fresh bolts is pointless. It was necessary to test it on rusty screws that had not been unscrewed for a long time
@BrokeLifeEU
@BrokeLifeEU 13 күн бұрын
In any case we will not get anywhere near 1800Nm on a car wheel. But I can set aside some rusty bolts and and an old hub assembly and wheel and try in the future. Does that sound like a plan to you?
@Gangster9988
@Gangster9988 13 күн бұрын
@@BrokeLifeEU it sounds like a plan, but with this 1800nm it is about the impact power when breaking the resistance between the screw and the thread in which it sits. If you tighten the screw in the wheel, e.g. 200nm and leave it for the season, you will not unscrew it to 200nm

I have a Mellif cordless drill and 1/2 inch impact wrench, both tools are great for the price. Brushless, powerful, made well enough to last a while. Mellif is one of the better brands to buy too, they make an angle grinder for 50-60€ and its almost as good as a real Makita like it even has NSK Bearings. Some name brands don't even have good quality bearings. Also bought an angle grinder from Gisam for 28€ BUT that one is not so great. It had a lot of play in the gearhead which I fixed by installing thin metal washers under the pinion gear. That got the play down a lot. But I still think the quality isn't good, 28€ is 28€. I always buy them without batterys because I don't trust cheap off brand batterys and chargers Also Makita battery have name brand high current cells in them. There is a Google Doc out there that lists which exact cells are in which battery. Type in "Makita 18V batteries breakdown" and you will find it. A 4Ah and 5Ah Makita battery can supply 40 Amps of current! I don't see any cheap off brand battery doing that for very long. I have 2 Makita batterys, a Makita Lawnmower, Hedge trimmer and a corded SDS Hammerdrill. Real Makita tools are excellent for their price and unless you get a really good deal with an off brand tool and you don't use it much anyways I would buy original. Especially because Makita supplies spare parts, diagrams and they have the extended 3 year warranty so if the tool fails within 3 years its covered and should anything go wrong after that its a simple cheap fix most of the time. The real deal is 100% worth it when its a tool you use often and that really shouldn't fail in the middle of a job. Makitas quality is apparent in the details, for example their tools rarely ever have battery contact issues because the contacts in the battery are actually spring steel so they will never deform under normal use and Makita uses little rubber bumpers in the battery holders to keep the battery tight against the tool. In some tools they even add metal pieces to keep the battery holder and battery from wearing out due to vibration. Metal to plastic actually produces less wear in this instance than plastic to plastic contact. At work we run a Hilti tool fleet so most of our tools are Hilti. Even Hilti doesn't have a better battery retention system figured out! And believe it or not from my experience with Hilti I think Makita can stand up to Hilti or be even better in terms of robustness and reliability.

Hello! First of all thank you for the the comment and the time spend watching the video! I value it a lot! I had never heard of Mellif tool, however I went on their site now and it looks rather nice which shows that they are doing their best to look good. That i my experience translates to their tools too. Also you are spot on regarding these “fake” batteries. I don’t trust them either. I don’t have any piece of mind at all when I charge them! The chargers heat up a lot! Also they are very slow to charge, however I can’t risk a faster charger for fear of the battery going 💥. I have many comments on this channel saying that I am a Milwaukee fan, however I have come buy so many spare parts for Makita and having now fixed a couple of Makita tools using easy to purchase apare parts I am rapidly becoming a fan. I really vallue the availabuility of Makita spare parts and it looks like their tools are built with so much care and precision. They may not be the most powerful, however they look like they would last a very long while. I unfortunately have not had the pleasure to work with a Hilti but I am pretty confident they are also a fantastic brand. Although on the Hilti front a quick google search reveals to me that spare parts are not too easy to find if at all. Looks like I do need to invest in to some proper Makita stuff as well. I hope this channel can support that in the future so I can bring some genuine Makita tools to the table! I hope you enjoy the content here and again thank you for your time!

If you need a battery for the Temu trash, you probably have to drive a little further than to Lidl, maybe you have to order it from Temu and it takes time when the machine cannot be used.

Yes, the Temu stuff is useful for as long as the battery is alive. After the battery or charger give up you need to wait about a month. Although I was surprised to find replacement batteries and chargers on Aliexpress and they are not too expensive at all.

I had the 12V performance impact wrench amd there is a lot you could do with it. It is even possible to switch out the anvils and turn it in to an impact driver, but I don’t think it is the best Parkside tool by any means.
