All the while during my ramble, he was sitting there quietly with nothing but a simple smile on his face. Hours later when it was time to leave, he got up and and spoke in a low tone "My young friend, Ambrose was indeed great. But you know who was even greater ? ... Malcolm Marshall" Paid for us both and left... I was left baffled

I have been watching cricket since 1990s many people talk about Glen McGrath and Wasim Akram but with all due respect I always thought that Curtly Ambrose is the best fast bowler that I have ever seen. Commentary of Michael Holding and broadcas Geoffrey Boycott also adds so much value to this broadcast

Oh yeah👍 I grew up watching Lance Klusner, Allan Donald, Shaun Pollock, Courtney Walsh, Ambrose etc etc. Kings of bowling attack. Bret Lee, Glen McGrath etc came much later.

Many people more talk about wasim akram becauae wasim have different variations in his bowling batsman had never predict him what kind of bowl will deliver by wasim Yorker or out swing whatever every delivery was adventurous by wasim akram while other bowler like ambrose walsh pollack Etc follows the one line of lenghth thats the difference between wasim akram and other bowlers except this wasim akram was also great aggressive batsman he also performed with the bat for Pakistan team whenever Pakistan team needed his batting while walsh or ambrose etc could not bat well in comparison with wasim akram.

I was 8 years old walking home from school an hour a way and I remember stopping at a shop every 5-10mins to check the score. Back in those days EVERYONE had the game on. About half way through my journey, I came to the realization that maybe I wasn't going to make it home in time at all. About 10 mins from home, I decided that I might as well stay put and listen to the rest of the game in a rum bar. So there I was with all the drunks and gamblers huddled around a radio listening to England get destroyed. Some things you just never forget.
