Ironically besides the Void and the Darkin, Mordekaiser is by far the greatest threat of runterra because he is Death incarnate BUT Riot hasn’t paid much focus to Mordekaiser, as of now he sidelined and he is not a main character ! his story hasn’t given much attention yet and he is currently vanished from the Death Realm! It’s irritating that Viego who is someone weaker than him is given the spotlight for now as this year is the year where the story of the Ruined King will be unfold. What I want is the story of Mordekaiser and Leblanc AND how Mordekaiser established an Empire that would later be known as Noxus!

But his revival is inevitable.

Funny how a lot of the older champs interaction barely make sense now. Like Lucian, Karthus, Yorick and Maokai's interactions only make sense in the old lore where Mordekaiser had setup a seat of power in the Shadows Isles, that and the fact that they wouldn't even know what or who Mordekaiser is in the new lore since he's been 'dead' in his afterlife for the past several thousand years.

Personally, Mordekaiser could be the strongest being in lore. Before you ask me why... 1. He is immortal (not shadow isles "immortal") 2. He doesnt feel pain (well, duh) 3. He is not affected by the ruination 4. He is extremely durable (metal..?) 5. The only way to defeat him is to get him out of his armor (super hard to acomplish that) If im wrong somewhere please let me know.

In lore, Mordekaiser's armor was made by like ancient sorcerers, or something. It was also confirmed on rell's live Q&A that Mordekaiser's armor is partially made of souls which he can manipulate to any form. So its probably not actually metal, but a different type of powerful and invulnerable magical material.

If they ever meet Mordekaiser would probably want to fight him to see who's stronger since he has been an unmatched warrior his whole life, and Viego most likely won't show any interest since he's searching for his wife. And if Morde engages him after all, he'll smack him couple of times, see that he is immortal and maybe, just maybe try to recruit him in his army
