its sooo funny because in the OG RE4 2005 If you guys know, after or before the mendez fight you would always see this infamous big beetle on a tree, and if you aim at it you'll see a red dot, if shot or if approached it will fly away. Great job Capcom!!

This is the last ‘treasure’ that I couldn’t find! I’m going down the list of achievements and trying to unlock all concept art/models and seen that I was missing a treasure knowing I collected them all and got the trophy lol. A damn beetle lol.

Finally figured out that Krauser reminds me of a mix of Gary Busey and Jack Nicholson.

I found the first one on my first playthrough just by accident. Didnt know there are more. Btw if you equip the charm that increases healing item selling value by 100% it also applies to this beetle so you will sell it for 20k.

I just found the first one in new game plus completely by accident. Its great how the game tells you not to eat it but you can eat it anyway

I found the first one on my first playthrough went straight to the merchant to sell never thought of health boost or finding the others never once crossed my mind good stuff man 👍

I found the Beetle by just running backwards during Krauser's fight.. I tried shooting it first, cause I always like shooting the bugs in re4 original, it didn't do anything and noticed I could pick it up.. I checked my treasures and it wasn't there 😂, then saw it sitting in my inventory I was confused cause the description said it's "not suitable for eating" and would rather be sold to the merchant. I searched up the purpose of eating it, and saw this video- didn't know there were two more, interestingly enough each one for each location (village, castle, island) funny. I wonder if there are more- who knows.

I'm on my fifth play through and I only just now found one of the Rhinoceros Beatles, I didn't even know they were in the game till about 15 minutes ago

i picked up one accidentally during the krauser fight on my professional playthrough and thought it was something special purely for the fight.

There's also one in Separate Ways. In the final chapter where you're against the clock to give red rocket launcher to Leon, it's at the place where you met Ashley & at the opposite of the chest where you got Justitia Statue...

I just went crazy over this, I was fighting Krauser and I find this, in all my rind I didn't even know this existed, and now I find it, I feel like I'm going nuts.

I only know their existence by looking up in the model section and found one unknown slot even after 5 playthroughs. Even then I didn't know there are 6 of them...

Achieved s+ rank on all difficulty, and 100 hours later, i was confused why there was a locked model in extra content shop.. googled for half an hour to discover this thing actually exists in the game

Didn't know bug collecting was a thing in the remake.. Maybe they should patch in a note that mentions them and their properties of health and resale value

I was't able to collect the first beetle in chapter 1. It simply wasn't there. I got it later after beating the lake monster.

Damn I thought there was only one. I literally scanned every inch and moved up against like every single wall/boundary in this game to look for any sort of prompts to appear being careful Im not to miss any items and I guess I didnt look hard enough.

I didn't even know these were a thing i was walking by the lake just right before you untie Luis and randomly found it cause i usually spam x after jumping over a fence or out a window lol so i accidentally picked this beetle up n was like wtf did i just pick up a bug oh hell nah this thing better be special or im tossing it lmao i already have max health and all the guns i do have are maxed out as well and i already saved enough for the infinite rocket launcher so i really dont see the point to them on a NG+ but if you are a new player and trying to beat the game under 4 hours and want to save for a rocket launcher these would be useful that is if you dont eat them, the description said the are not suitable to eat so i was like yeah lemme not do my boi leon like that n make him eat bugs lol

Would have been a cute achievement to find all 3 I don't want to go on a treasure hunt and reset when I miss 1 out of 40 again 😢
