One of the few consoles of the time where we got pretty much every single good RPG in the West (unlike with SNES, where tons of games were left in Japan). By the way, Fushigi no Umi no Nadia is a top-down adventure game, actually.

Unfortunately, the ones that were left in Japan rarely get translated because of the lesser demand. We still don't have a translation for Surging Aura, for example, even all these years later.

@@SonofSethoitae I played through it in French a while ago; it's okay, but I wouldn't call it 'a hidden gem' personally.It's very predictable, for one, and I wasn't too fond of the battle system. Either way, you are right -the ones that are there are mostly untouched, even if there aren't many of them... though I believe there was a Maten no Soumetsu WIP patch. I think it may be available on some GitHub page still.

Phantasy star one was release for genesis/mega drive on Japan? I only find the Sega master system rom.

Yes PS1 was on Mega drive but a tough rom to find since it was limited release in Japan at the time and never translated sadly for MD

For some reason I just dont count side scrollers as RPGs. I plan to play through every Genesis RPG except the side scrollers and the ones that are in Japanese.

Blue Almanac was localized some time ago, but I don't know if it's available commercially anymore. There are fan-translations for Madou Monogatari, Maten no Soumetsu Rent-a-hero, King Colossus and Surging Aura (but only French for now, English one is WIP). Most of them are okay.

Way better then the crappy Nintendo Switch Online THANK YOU for giving me proof for the Sega reveal NOT ONE is on the list and that is lazy and STUPID
