She was also the one that persuaded Hades to let Orpheus get away with pulling Eurydice out of the underworld the first time around, it makes the most sense.

There are two common theories, that it was based off of "Kreoboros" (which does actually translate to "flesh devouring"). However the other is based on "Kerberos" the original Greek spelling of the name (Cerberus is actually the Romanized one) and it is believed to be based on "Karbarah" and "Sabalah", both of which mean "spotted" or "speckled." So there is a very high chance his name *is* actually some version of "Spot". Though at the end of the day it will simply be based on what you decide is better. But both names are just as plausible.

NYX is a primordial goddess and she is powerful very powerful even Zeus is scared of her so it really would not surprise me that she believed the Fates and it really wouldn't surprise me if she's best friends with Persephone

@andreasottohansen7338 Not from the hair. Short hair does not necessarily mean Tomboy. She has spiky short hair on top, sure, I just get general tomboy vibes. I think it's the "I'm quite happy chilling here, fuck the big mountain" attitude.

Not exactly, you still have some stuff to do in order to fully complete the story. Hades, Persephone and the other have much more to talk after this part and the real end.

Charon was needed for that to transpire, without him being there it was just a normal river. Charon wouldn’t show up unless it was important since his presence would alert the gods.

the problem isnt about dying. he is cursed by the sisters of fate about birthright stuff. those who was born in the underworld shall not leave the underworld. so even if you dip yourself in river styx like Achilles did, if fate say you go the f back to the underworld, well….that will happen

He gets taken by the Styx he doesnt leave a body behind

I imagine the boons disappear as soon as he feels the sunlight. But the charon coins must be taken when he enters the ship

He throws himself into the fray again & again just to bring his mother back and repair his family. Never have I respected Zagreus more after that meeting.

I think her portrait looks off because it's trying to show so many emotions at once: she's overjoyed to see Zagreus, but her memories from the Underworld are still painful. Then there's the sorrow that no sooner than he arrived, he must return to the Underworld

I disagree though. I found it very wholesome and sentimental. I can’t imagine the feeling of your child returning back to you after thinking they were dead for so long.

@@Teowashere I agree now. After having finished one run, I found out that her feelings are genuine. What I meant before, was the art.. I think I must have played too many “plot twist” kind of game where people show their real face, and I somehow was expecting a stab in the back kind of story this time too. Sorry guys.

the epilogue? well it wasn't as strong as the main story for sure but I enjoyed it

No offence but if you are looking for a story in a rougelike you a playing the wrong genre that being said this does story the best out of basically any rougelike

What makes so good is the high ammount of dialogues across all the characters, + how well it represents the countless diferent myths its based upon, sure there are a lot of changes and creative freedoms which is just natural and necessary even, but its still fantastic.
