Today's topic, all-terrain tires. The Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 3. The Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 3 is a good tire for those who don't need real aggressive all-terrain tires. I recommend the Dueler A/T Revo 3 for Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Suburban, Ford F150, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra, Toyota Tacoma, Toyota Sequoia, and Nissan Frontier, and Nissan Titan.

For those of you who have owned a set of these, what did you think? If you haven't owned the Revo 3s, do you have a favorite Bridgestone tire? What did you like best?

I do have a set of Dueler A/T 001 which looks very very similar to these ones. Not sure what is the difference but mine have a snowflake symbol so I use it in wintertime. I also had a set of Dueler H/T 684 II as summer tires. I have impression A/T has better braking performance on the wet surface but fuel economy is not so good as H/T has.

i have the revo 2, live in mexico theres a bunch of heavy deep holes on the road, and bad roads, i take they work like a champ water, dry intensive heat, try them a couple time in the mountain with lil bit of ice and snow couldent be more impressed, take a bunch of time to rivers and roky trails they do chip but dont worry with side walls issues, just 1 puncture with a big bolt so ?? no compains dont think any tire would handle that. awesome highway performance i have right now 40k and they still perform pretty good they break on wet and dry awesomely and i like to drive fast. im currently on the market to buy something new and im finding pretty difficult to find something better that can handle all that good. lil bit off road noise no compains, good fuel economy, good tread werar (including shipping by rocks they still are therre) nice ride confort. i think ill buy them again! or can you recommend something better?

Just changed out my stock Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac on my 2021 GMC Sierra AT4 with these Bridgestone A/T Revo 3. Night/day difference. Lower on-road sound levels (like almost dead quiet), comfort, no chopping, cornering improved, etc. I went "taller" one size...275/65 R18 to a 275/70 R18 (33.2" tire). Same weight as the stock Goodyears which are 32" tall. Lastly, the Goodyears are 6-ply (Load C) vs the Bridgestones 10-ply (Load E). I am running about 42 psi at all four corners...no sagging. Pretty dern happy with these Revo 3's!

Great review on the tire. Been missing your tire reviews brother. I was looking at Firestone and Bridgestone tire about 3 years ago and stopped looking at their A/T tires because I was told by a salesman that the 3 peak mountain and snow flake was b.s. and not needed for A/T tires. I informed him that in some states like Colorado if that 3 peak mountain and snow flake wasn't on the side wall you would get a ticket for not putting chains on when traveling certain roads. If you got stopped by Law Enforcement. He didn't have anything to say after that.

I turned the Revo 3’s back in at the end of their 90-day warranty period. In my experience, the Bridgestone Dueler A/T RH-S is the best all-around on/off-road all-terrain highway-livable tire. The Revo 3’s looked good, but were noisier, got 25%+ worse fuel mileage, had a rumbling vibration, and didn’t have the winter traction that the RH-S’s had. And my last set of RHS’s lasted 76k miles, so they’re hard to beat!

Have lost tires to road debris, road plates, etc. We also have a lot of rain and flooding year round. I wanted the Falken Wildpeak AT3 but they don’t come in my size. 265/50r20. Then I saw your review for the Cooper Discoverer AT3 4s and before I placed my order, I considered these Revos because they are in stock near me. These and the Destinaton 2s are very much stretching the label "All Terrain". The closed shoulders on these remind me of Transforces and Long trails. Both of which earn their reputation for being terrible in the wet. They will probably do alright in dry climates though. I don't foresee any off roading ( at least on purpose) though. Maybe if the wind blows some dirt onto the driveway. Thanks for the overview on these guys!

@@CampusautoCo That's a possibility. It just seems odd when the first gen Destinations seemed to be received very well, and they departed so far from it's design. Maybe they got the 7 year itch. Maybe they re-compounded the tire, and marketing thought it was a good opportunity to widen the target population. Maybe it was even an engineering issue. Maybe they looked over at Goodyear and said "Hey, they have 9 different A/ts with almost the same name, let's go that direction." lol. Who knows what's what with the big tire companies?

I like the Continental Terrain Contact A/T more than this Revo 3, except the Revo 3 in the same size are 9 lbs. lighter per tire which is appealing. The reason for upsizing is will level truck 3/4-1" when the shocks are replaced (don't want to lose all the rake for towing). Matt, how do you compare these to Cooper discoverer at3? I bought a set of BFG KO2s about 6 weeks ago...ride is awful. 2002 F150 FX4 stock ride height. Had a really annoying vibration/bed hop before and it got worse after new tires installed. Took it twice back to local tire shop where I purchased for re-balancing, alignment. I personally replaced two rear U joints, all 4 shocks w Bilstein 4600, new brakes, rotors, both front calipers...still no good...at this point I took it to Ford Dealer who replaced both rear axles and all associated bearings...still crappy ride. Had tires Road Force tested at same Ford dealer and learned 3/4 tires failed and are out of round...one of which was 38lbs. This is all after the original tire shop supposedly Road Force tested them but did not provide me the readings. I'm going back to tire shop tomorrow to request replacement or different brand altogether. I'm the guy you describe who goes off road maybe 5-10% of the time. You recommended the BFG ko2 over the Coopers to me in another videos comment section but I got a terrible set and I'll never buy those again because of it. I knew nothing about tires before this but man, I learned a ton throughout this frustrating process. I know this is a crazy long comment so thanks if you actually read it all.. Any advice you have on dealing w tire shop or an alternative tire recommendation would be appreciated! I dont want to pay out of pocket so if I'm forced to try another set of BFG I guess I'll have to try em.

Hey. I put these on my 2021 tundra crew max. I live in upstate NY and do a bunch of winter traveling. They’re okay in the snow and the ride is pretty good. Wear, not so good. At 33k they are about spent (2/32 left). Interestingly though my buddy put the Bridgestone dueler ATs RH on his Sierra at the same time and he has about 7/32 left. We both rotate tires at 5k intervals. Needless to say, I’m not buying the REVOs again. Hope this helps.

@@kevinhale1665 thanks for the reply. I keep hearing that it’s just best to get the BFG KO2. Yea I am tired of my tires wearing out so fast. I had the BFG KO2s on my 2014 tundra. I was not very impressed with those either. Perhaps a little longer tread life but after 25k they were loud and stiff. Not worth the extra cash, in my view. My suggestion if youre after the best tread life: lower your expectations for tread life with a tundra. They eat tires. I’d try the Michelin defender ltx m/s. Not sexy but the best ride and treadlife. Or, the Bridgestone dueler AT RHs which seem to have the best combo of decent tread life, stylish looks and good handling. That’s my two cents my friend. Good luck.
