Debating on what exhaust setup I’d like to put on my stock ‘14 fxt. Budget wise I most likely will do a muffler delete but that q300 would be my pick once I save up some money! Keep up the great content!

Your invidia N1 single exit is what made me buy mine! I ended up trading in for a focus ST because I missed not having a manual, but I do miss my forester

I have the Q300 on mine (nothing else) and it’s obnoxious now since I have an exhaust leak😂. I do notice in cabin drone as well (even before the leak)

Do you still have this thing? What do you do for inspections? I love mine. I put the Cobb stainless on it, kept everything else because I don’t want to deal with taking it on and off for inspections. As you can guess I’m a NY’r such as yourself.

the quietest is the HKS legamax which run... catless its still quiet literally only when it cold start can you really hear it.. when it warms up driving unless your accelerating somewhat you cant hear it inside the car at all lol and outside its barely noticeable

I may be getting a 2016 forester xt soon. Been watching your videos and a few others to find out what exhaust I want to get. Would you go with a Nameless or the Invidia N1? I don’t want it to be too loud or obnoxious. I’m pretty new to this kind of stuff.

N1 and q300 for quiet and nameless for louder. If you're running a stock downpipe then both setups wouldn't be too loud.

Perrin but I have it set to fully recirculate. Those sounds you heard were mainly coming from the turbo itself

Before you got to the catless J-pipe, did any of them require a tune after installation? I have a WRX midpipe waiting to go on mine, but I've seen conflicting info about the need for a tune.

I've got an STI midpipe, and the sound has more bass, for the catless j-pipe that's a must have tune.

I have the STI mid pipe and mufflers. It doesn't need a tune but It definitely holds a longer start up idle then the stock exhaust but eventually levels off to the normal idle after the warm up

Hey HCJ, I was wondering what year that single exit N1 is for. Is it for the 08-14 Wrx? I had that for my 2016 Impreza Wagon and it was my favorite exhaust yet. I sold the car and got a 2015 Forester XT and was wondering if that same exhaust would fit these or is it for a different year WRX? Hopefully you see this! Thanks in advance!
