Thanks for your oversharing i enjoyed it a lot. Was, exactly what I needed today on a exhausted day. Miss my, times going on finntroll concerts and medieval markets. But here in dharamsala india we just enjoyed the Dalai Lama teaching today. Different vibe but amazing. I also enjoy the old crafts so i visited a nomad village in ladakh recently and picked up traditional phang spindles and learn spinning now. What an adventure. Love it but less knitting time. Got raw fleeces from Himalaya sheep, yak and cashmere. Thank you for sharing. Have a lovely day. Oh also inspired by, your mohair knits i got tge pompom issue of cloudbow and work on a plumetis sweater.

I now can’t remember if you mentioned the name of the festival but I got about 5 minutes in and thought “That’s Midgardsblot!” I haven’t had a chance to go yet but I’m planning to next year. Also, seconding the recommendation for Legends and Lattes, it’s a super lovely book. Very cosy fantasy. Board games wise if you haven’t played it before I’d suggest Flamecraft, it’s a really fun game based around a town with small dragons that work in different businesses. And the artwork is so super cute!

Ah I might not have mentioned it, woops! But it really is, it was so wonderful, I'd *love* to go again hehe. Do you think you will stay in the viking camp? It's such a lovely little book, I am nearly finished my current audiobooks so am going to have a little re-read! I haven't played Flamecraft but looking at the artwork and the review, it looks right up my street, so stinking cute!

Man that is so cool, loved to see all your recent knits, and i agree that the sock have a definite u'ka'toa (u'ka'toa) vibe to them. The festival looks like it was so cool! I love the beer making. can't wait to hear about all your recent crafting adventures. I watched this while knitting on my Gelly Cube!

@@kattweaver I don't but I'm now very interested in ancient brewing techniques... I watched the Welsh Viking's video on brewing viking(?) beer a while ago and I might have to revisit it. The use of hot rocks to control the temperature is really cool.

We live at Viking markets every summer in Southern Sweden, without the concerts though . . . Wandering musicians are wonderful but now l would like to try your version!

Ah yeah I did have a little listen and reallyyyyy enjoyed it, I've had it as background for some of my DnD games 😅 (even though there's not been much of that lately) she's got such a gorgeous voice!
