I have been taking a break from this game for a few weeks, but this new update looks awesome. Going to have to jump back in.

One thing to note, Helzephyr Lux = Nocturnal power production, which is important due to the massive power consumption of the new oil rigs. Right now the large power generators drain ins seconds soon as the night starts. Yes, there is now a Nocturnal passive you can breed onto a Orzerk, and then get him to level 5, but at the loss of a work speed passive. Might be something to run some tests on to see whats more efficient. Three WS nocturnal Orzerk at level 5, or a four WS Helzephyr Lux at level 4. Edit: The Dog Coins specifically say they cannot be gotten from butchering.

I saw some testing with the Yakumo and its pretty nice. Each level of the partner skill increases the rate at which wild Pals spawn with a matching passive. The "Syncro rate" per star 15/18/21/24/30% though I'm unsure if that is 1 roll for all the passives or if it rolls separately for each passive each time. I think best case is getting one with the new Philanthropist skill that way you can start spam breeding stuff for the blender and not have to wait on mutation. Crude oil production 100% rate limits production in the endgame now. Combined with Pal AI not functioning properly when not rendered (transport jobs don't happen) it makes sense to me to relocate all of my bases to the South Oil Fields on the new island. There are going to be a ton of way to do it, but with my old PC crying at 60 pals rendered (across 3 bases) I'm a little hesitant to bump it up any more. I'm not 100% sure of the balance point yet, but I'm working with 4 pals per 2 oil field (3 Orserk @ WS4 + 1 Helz Lux), either way the extractors are super power hungry. Helz Lux is a straight upgrade to Helz and you can breed them by crossing your old Helz with a Beakon. after an hour or so I had all my Helz swapped out. I would like to see what Lullu actually does. Her description says speeds up "growing time" which prior was one of the parts of the process we couldn't interact with (it had no work value), but i dont know if this is if she tends the crop or if she can interact with the "Growing" phase directly. From a stats progression her stars go 25/20/35/40/50% but I don't know if that's a rate-reduction on time, or if its a new work-speed modifier. much testing to do...

If you breed the Yakumo for 4 passives and max out, you have chance to encounter pals (and humans, I found that in a video) with these 4 passives it's insane.

Managed to get nocturnal on my Orserk’s, with serious, workslave and Artisan. With 2 large gens and the three oil base. Four of them in total and a 5 in the palbox. Bit over kill might reduce them to 2 or 3. But it farms oil all night which is very handy

All the Quartz requirements made me glad I decided to breed and butcher Frostallion Noct for Souls instead of Anubis since each one drops 10 Quartz upon butchering. I strongly recommend breeding them for Souls since we have no way to automate Quartz acquisition. As for the pendants, you can stack Attack and Defense pendants. Also, you can stack Attack Pendants of different levels, you just can't stack multiple +2 pendants together anymore.

I just noticed you can no longer double up on pendants! Refridgerated crusher doesnt need water pal bonus as im currently breeding jormuntides for raid boss 1st stage :) menasting terra oil fields have 2 skill trees neRby aswell as a cave also west oilfield from menasting terra spawns kitkits for additional capture and butcher for oil ;)

Oh, I farm for souls, but I'll go hunt of my flowers. And, I was so wrong. I've said I hated mounted combat. No, I hated learning mounted combat with early game beaters. Now that I've had a caddy (a perfect speed Frostallion Noct) I've found I love mounted combat. I've even gone back and discovered some of the ole' beaters aren't so bad.

Is shroomer worth it cause I have no idea if it's passive is stronger at lvl 4 I have one at my base. Does a fine job at slowing down but I don't know if I'm wasting my time maxing it out. Cause I'm going for putting 5 maxed out ones to walk around my base to see how slow it would make their sanity go down. So I can see if I can work them harder and it barely does anything. Then be able to keep it at a higher work output at a base

Menasting was already dark and ground, so a ground one, seems a little silly. That's the only one I have anything bad to say about. And it sounds like I've been wise in just slowing building up my inventory of circuit boards and just sitting on them. I've done that with lots of the materials. And no, you can't stack accessories at all anymore. They all have to have a independent name. But, I don't know if def pendent +1 and def pendent +2 are considered the same name.

So does work speed actually work on generator? I've never had time to confirm that.

You the man!!!! You always cover stuff the Lets Play just don't talk about.. I did have a question, when you have time, I was waiting for your latest. So, when going after Bellanoir Libero B2, do you or have you removed ALL non battle pals from the palbox? I was scared to loose my beast breeding pairs and Base pals, so i dedicated my second base to nothing put viewing cages. I have watched many a palbox get destroyed and some players have Lost some of the pals that were in there. B2 didnt try to destroy my box, and i thought maybe because it was empty. But do you or have you removed them? THANX again

Is it worth it for Yakumo. It doesn’t seem to pass on legend or any of the lord of the ….. passives.

Whats with the locks next to many of your pals? Edit:I wonder what happens if you have a maxed rank no passive Yakumo.

you're using some kind of mod there. unmodded, the pal count remains at 20 per base, and max bases are up to 4 at base LVL 25. that is NOT part of this update

Your right about one thing . This update is insane. Insane to even install and call a update. Unplayable on next gen. Oil rig can't even get to it. Everything about this update screams desperate.
