Why do things take longer with a CCD and what can we do about it? Why does having a CCD commonly affect social skills? Where does emotional regulation fit in? What does it mean when someone is told their child will 'be ok?' Do people with a CCD have super powers?
Hear the latest information about social, psychological and cognitive impacts of corpus callosum disorders from globally renowned researcher, Dr Lynn Paul, in an interview with Brigid O'Connell. Lynn is passionate about CCD behavioural research and has decades of experience and insight into the heterogeneous impacts of corpus callosum disorders.
Together with Dr Warren Brown, Dr Lynn Paul has defined the three commonalities of corpus callosum disorders to explain the core symptoms of the syndrome. Lynn is conducting the first longitudinal infants study looking for early markers to provide the most effective early interventions.
Produced by Australian Disorders of the Corpus Callosum (AusDoCC) with Mighty Films, at Connections 2023, Melbourne Australia. Funded by The Australian Government's Information, Linkages and Capacity Building Program.
