Honestly, I understand *why* and agree. They *are* the debatably best team rn in a season where there are SO many top-tier teams. SSG, NRG, BDS, Envy, Rogue (when First is popping off)... there are so many teams rn that are far above the competition comparatively (accounting for skill-ceiling and meta).

I genuinely think your list was wayyyy better than stumpy's to be fair and I can agree that c9 is in conversation for the best team of all time buuut I do think GFE/Dig edges them out juuuust a bit due to consitency and because of that consistency they became the Villians of RLCS which just made Cloud 9s dismanteling of the original machine become the greatest RLCS run and finals of all time. Which definently gives them some points for being the only team to ever just embarass let alone beat this ridiculous team.

@@thund3r94 old c9 literally lost during the RLCS they won. They came from lower bracket. C9 was really not that consistent. As Johnny said they just got random big wins over a long period of time. Back when Dig was at their peak you already knew the result before the tourney happened it was honestly so boring. No one said that about c9.

F3 with m1k3 were practically like an early Dignitas. Dominating nearly every minor and major tournament they were in for an entire year. So I'm not so sure about putting them lower on the list as there was a larger gap between F3 and the other teams compared to the gap between Vitality and that era of teams.

@@Abriellie cuz F3 was so early that no one had the skill to challange them. Vitality did it way later when there was tons of competition.

@@cru3her608 All the other sarpbc vets that played the prequel for years and were also apart of the rocket league alpha and beta for a year and a half were there to challenge them remember? But yet F3 were clearly ahead of the competition 99% of the time. Even a very good team like Vitality wasn't ahead of the curve like that during their peak. Johnny talks about this topic in the video. Greatness in anything competitive imo is best measured in innovation that is still wildly used by everybody and a clear dominance of the competition within that era. And that describes F3. Vitality wasn't that, they were just slightly better than their peers. They were standing on the shoulders of giants. Technically improving on what F3 laid down. Jimi Hendrix and Pele are considered the greatest at what they do. Even though their skill has technically been eclipsed in the modern age.
