Thanks for this video. I have pursued MTech from IIT Delhi in 2015 in Computer Technology (EE) and done mtech thesis in machine learning. Done BTECH in CSE. Though I have not published any paper. I have 5+ Years of experience as software developer. How should I approach for Phd in Stanford? Thanks

BS degrees from Tier 3, Tier 4 Indian Colleges and Universities are recognized in the USA ?, since when?, Unbelievable.... You can even buy degrees for money there.

Hi, When you say minors in CS, do IITs allow you to take some courses from CS or you have few courses included in your curriculum? Like I have two courses which were the same as CS courses in my curriculum, can I also include a minor in CS and a Major in ECE? Thanks

No, minors in CS means taking CS courses, giving the exams with CS students and your degree certificate explicitly mentioning that you did Minors in CS.

Bro Iam from hyderabad. Given you have a decent score or decent profile. You have a better chance of going to a good college in the US than in India. That's just my opinion. There are soo many other factors like education purpose, financial situation, family, personal life, etc that can affect your decision. So, take decisions based on your personal situation rather than from others who may not know you.

Firstly, maintain a 9.0 CGPA minimum throughout college. Ensure you don't compromise on academics. Next, watch Rachit Jains video "What I would have done if I was NOT from IIT but a Tier-3 College?". He explains what you have to do to ensure you have a successful 4 years of college with a placement mindset. This will allow you to have decent internships and a possible full-time job in hand (either on-campus or off-campus). With work experience, you 1) Get a different perspective of the industry 2) Get insight on the trends 3) Know what subjects to take during the Masters Everything is possible. If you are doing Masters in the US, there are loads of colleges, not just Stanford, MIT, CMU, Harvard,etc. Find a college in the location near the industry where you want to work so you can get really good exposure and understanding of the culture there. I recommend checking out "Yudi J" on youtube, he has good videos on this and has interviews with people who have made it to Masters in the US coming from Tier-3 colleges.

Only 7 people in India each year can go to this prestigious university in the usa it's not that easy lol he isn't mentioning that and if you want to get in without a scholarship it will cost you 20 crores per year for that you have to be mukesh ambani or ratan tata's son

That may be true for ug, not for masters lol. For masters, many students is able to get in, near 150 I guess or even more and cost varies from 80lakhs to 2 crores + you can get financial aid as well

Lol 20 crores is a bit too much false exaggeration. Do your research before commenting. Yeah, top US universities are expensive but not that much. You do realize that you can cover all the fees either by loan, scholarships, teaching assistantship, or through on campus jobs.
