Hey Sally, another story time for you: I was running the slowest ADS AX50 I could build (I could please your mom faster than you could ADS on this thing) and on Rebirth this meant that people just shat down my throat left and right with no regard for my humanity. Fair enough. But in Caldera it... wasn't the worst? So I ended up trying an actual build that wasn't a meme and it wasn't the worst either. But here's where it gets good. I was sitting top Peak like a total god staring down at all the little mortals when I got sniped in the teeth from across the map by some dude RUNNING THE SLOW AX50 and I have never wanted to beat somebody up through a screen so badly. I then proceeded to get absolutely eviscerated in the Gulag and then I logged off and went to have a good cry.

I've been using the ZRG since it came out and I have to say, apart from the slow rechamber time, I've been loving it. Was slaying in rebirth last season

I am an over-thinker. Let me rant. The ZRG 20mm from Call of Duty; Black Ops Cold War shares a lot in common with that of most other anti-tank, 20-millimeter arms. It has the integrated bipod and barrel shape of the Type 97 Auto Cannon from Japan, but seems to have the same chamber type as the Soviet PTRS-41. It has the weird, blocky shape to the stock as if it were the Finnish Lahti L-39, but seems to run out with the same recoil as any other sniper-class weapon. I guess the magazine and loading angle would match the German Solothurn S-18/100, as well as match up overall at about 70% frame compatibility, so it may be this one. AND IT HAS A SIDE-MOUNTED SCOPE! WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS, THE DRAGUNOV?! THE BOLT BELONGS ON A BARRET .50! AND ITS' HANDLE IS FROM THE KARABINER 31! And it doesn't have any magazine release that I've seen or can remember off the top of my head (😭), probably relates to the Barret, but I can't be sure. It's just so oddly shaped to the point it might as well be a completely new gun, just modeled poorly after all the other arms listed. It genuinely hurts my head to even LOOK at a gun as fucked up as this one. I'm gonna go cry now. Bye.

Honestly, as a SwissK31 controller player, the change isn't terrible in rebirth. Most fights I'm pushing are within 90 meters anyway, so basically sniping with the Swiss/kar got easier for good/aggressive players. Unfortunately, sniping also got easier for campers because now all the hitscan snipers have infinite range (which I guess was always the case, but now people using the Swiss/kar can't counter that anymore.)

If you guys are looking for the sniper meta its the anti tank rifle, use it with the last barrel,nightvision scope, stippled grip tape and reinforced stock. And I quote its 1 shot headshot from any distance.0 bullet drop and 0 damage falloff. Try it and you wont put it down after your first 5 headshots

I think the quick scoping snipers being bad is good it gives the weapons like the tundra from cw (which I love) and the hdr (also love) more time in the spot light of sniper metas

Luckily I leveled up a Tundra to try and unlock the swiss, now I don't have to worry about the sniper nerf, because it didn't affect the Tundra (I think)

The nerfed snipers seem to be only affected in Caldera. Rebirth the KAR is still king

ZRG has always been hitscan it just gets left behind since it doesn't have great mobility

Maybe just missed it, but i saw all these comments about the AX50 and HDR, but no one says shit about the Tundra. ADS is 'meh', but the gun still slaps. Maybe im alone on this, but i will gladly die on this hill... with the Tundra clutched to my chest.
