I got a phone call a few weeks back. The woman on the phone said I was in a car crash and it wasn't my fault, she then goes on to tell my how she's going to settle my claim and get me my compensation. She then started to ask me questions about the incident, this is when I ask her to hold on 2 seconds, I call over my dog and get her to bark down the phone nonstop 'as I get the pen and paper', I then picked the phone up and said I've got my details ready and something to make notes with. She gets me to tell her about the incident, how I was sat at the crossroad, my light went green and this F15 runs his red light and slides wiped me out of nowhere. At this point she gets the next person to take my details. I tell him the same story, nothing still believed me. He gets to the point of closing, starts to ask me for my bank details. I start to thank him for this money, how it's a great thing being able to use it and buy a new car. I think he finally clicked when I told him 'it's got to be hard to stop at the lights flying one of them thing',he asked me to tell him the story from the start. So, I go through the whole story and get to the point where I first see the on coming vehicle, ''it was moving fast, I was side on to it'' '' Okay and what did it look like?'' ''It was a greeny, brown, missiles on the wing, I'm sure he was way lower than his airspace'' He jumps in with ''what do you mean missiles?'' ''Well they were under the wing, I'm lucky one of them didn't explode on impact, they do some damage'' For some reason the phone went dead after that. I don't think they can pay out on car vs fighter jet.

I had one of those scammers like Christine. Her story was her husband and her had no children, had $5,000,000 in a trust fund and wanted me to find people in need to give it to. Shortly after this she was in the hospital and needed $8,000 to pay for surgery and of course she couldn't take it out of the trust fund. Told her I barely had $8 to give away and she suggested I sell some properties. She finally gave up and stopped messaging me until 2 weeks later she asked where the $500 I promised to send was. Told her she forgot who she was scamming because I'd never promised her anything. These scammers are so stupid but unfortunately there are people that are equally idiotic enough to fall for their nonsense.

The longest pauseI heard was 30 seconds. The shortest was when they hung up immediately, followed by heavy breathing. Then I really degenerate into cannibalism if nothing else works. I don’t know what comes after that as they hang up. Lol. Any time spent trying to scam me is one minute they’re not trying to scam someone else.

14:50 it is possible to have 7 clients in 29 countries. If those are very large MNE's and you would be doing stuff for all their subsidaries or at least some of them and then count all the countries those are spread across.

Something I noticed: in the emails from “Christine Lagarde”, she emails “Daphne’ on the 4th but her attorney says Christine was buried on the 3rd

I'm very proud of this story: Once a woman called me, pretending she was with my car insurance company, and to try to steal my details. She obviously had no way of knowing who my insurer was, so she just rattled off something that sounded vaguely plausible. I asked her to repeat who she was with, and she did, so I said, "do you actually know what company I'm insured with?" Obviously, she had no details, so she just very snottily said "Have a nice day, 'sir' " to which I replied "yeah, I saw you coming a mile off."

I've followed in Joe's footsteps with a Pedro Pascal impersonator. I nearly died crying with laughter xD He still trying to get money from me and it's been months.

In fairness to the "7 clients in 29 countries" could be international businesses. For example, if a business operates in Canada, USA, and Mexico, that business could be 1 client in 3 countries.

I think Yussif went along with it because only crazy people would actually respond to the email with the expectation of getting money.
