Usually it’s the photograph that is the more beautiful of the two for comparison and can’t be reproduced in a way where the art created from it surpasses its beauty, but definitely not in this case! This has got to be one of the most beautiful portraits painted that I have ever seen and only done in two hours?! 😳I could have spent weeks on something like this and still not nailed it the way you did in such a ‘short’ amount of time!! This is very inspiring and makes me want to pick up doing my oils again when I just got into watercolors! 😩

Without a great great practice for at least 10yrs for 5 to 8 hours of serious and honest practice I think this magical sense of proportion and colour taste cannot be produced as Mr.RENSO achieved. So amaging!

Very nice , not many can get that kind of color from a black and white reference. A strong sense of darks and lights as well as good drafting skills . I can relate. You have a nice balance of warm and cools by using the gray as a foundation and your warm pinkish underpainting on top of that cool grey is great Renso. Very much like Rapheals paintings.
