Great video. Love your fair videos. Awesome you got to see kix. The prices of the food is so much cheaper then the fair here. The fair has gotten so expensive here that we stopped going. Parking is $30 admission is $30 water is $6 food is $15 and up. Thank you for the video.

We enjoy mushrooms on our Philly cheesestaks too. The mushrooms and onions make a cheesesteak. The model train looked so cool; especially, the carnival..that was really neat. We've never heard of Kix, but we went to listen to a couple of their songs before coming back here to comment. We're surprised that they weren't bigger than they were. Their style sounds similar to the other popular 80s rock bands. Thanks for taking us along with you to the Allegany County Fair. We hope that you guys are having a great weekend.

My mouth was watering watching John eat that sausage casserole. I would eat that spicy sausage when I was in my teens and 20's, but my stomach can't handle that spice now that I am in my 60's. I'm so glad my kids are grown up because of the prices now days. I loved the train. My Grandma made the best cinnamon rolls when I was little. Brings back great memories. Thank you both for sharing this fun adventure and I will check out that band. Have a great weekend 😊.

This is an awesome fair here in Maryland!!!! Love Bobbie's Philly Cheesesteak with onions, peppers, and mushrooms. Looked so good . John your sausage bowl really looked good as well. The Cinnamon Roll was HUGE!!!! KIX was such a good band in the '80"s probably good at this concert!!!! Of course Nathan's HOT Dogs are the best!!!!

Midnight Dynamite and Blow My Fuse are 2 great albums. I saw them open for Whitesnake in Indy back in 1988. Very underrated band.

A lot of those funnel cakes just have too much stuff on them. Pirate ship ride for kids is about my speed. What a fun day with lots of good eats. Love the sax.

I've always thought KIX was criminally underrated. It used to bother me, but being from MD I appreciate the fact that they're 'our' band. The remained in the area and play quite frequently. And they still sound GREAT!

Grew up in Upper Marlboro MD in good ol Prince George's County. Used to go to Hammerjacks in Baltimore and see Kix before they really made it big. Wish they would have let you play some of the music.

I believe you chose good food choices. I would rather have sandwich or bowl than a $15.00 slushy! My husband was an locomotive engineer repairman for the RR, he definitely would loved seeing the train display. Ever been to Clearfield or York County Fairs in Pa. Donny Iris & The Clark’s are great Pittsburgh artists.

I love KIX. So sad they are retiring. I was at the M3 Rock Festival this May when they announced it before their set. I've seen them live way over a dozen times and they ALWAYS bring it. Steve Whiteman is one of the greatest frontmen of all time. Definitely a criminally underrated band. I'm trying to get decent priced tix for their final show at Meriwether. Sold out day went on sale before I got to get online! Great video. The food at the carnival looked like a great fun selection too.

Back when we were kids in the 1960s an ice cream cone was like 50 Cent. A couple years ago we were down the shore in Cape May New Jersey, and a father bought all his children an ice cream cone and the bill was like $40 that was for like five kids. When I was a kid that same bill would have been $2.50

My favorite part of this video is the kid who yells “help me” in the very beginning. 😂

And I think the state of Delaware holds a big fair in a place called Harrington Delaware I think that fair is going on now to thats about 2 hours south from where I live

Huge fair runs 2 weeks before labor day. Labor day is the last day. They actually have a food building. Amazing and wtf food creations.

Kix says they are from Baltimore but this is not technically true. The lead singer is from Westernport, MD. I have seen Kix every year at the M3 Rock Festival in Columbia, MD for the past 7 years (not including 2020) and I will be seeing their last performance at Merriweather next month. I wonder if you remember during this fair concert when Steve noticed someone in the front that had a KISS t-shirt on as opposed to a KIX t-shirt. Right at the end of your concert footage, I actually caught a glimpse of my brother in laws head. Well, that was my sister. But I guess Baltimore sounds better. I live in Cumberland. The food they serve at the fair is not local food. If it were, they'd have Curtis' hot dogs there. The people in the fair come from different areas. I have eaten the same food in other fairs in different locations. Some of those people probably travel with the rest of the fair people. Incidentally, I do not ride fair rides. I don't trust something that was put together just for a week only to be taken down again. just as fast.

Mix rules would like see 1 whole song ? The food looks good . I would spend $15 on that food and be bloated !

Food too much! Going to a restaurant. York,pa fair moved from September till July not too many happy people in heat waves time. Used to be agricultural but know not too many horticultural entries.
