In my lifetime I've seen most of the greatest ball handles in NBA history from Zeke Thomas to Jordan to KJ to Mark Price to Tim Hardaway to Kenny Anderson to Damon Stoudemire to Kobe to Nash to Starbury to Steve Francis to White Chocolate to Jamal Crossover to CP3 to Derrick Rose to Kyrie to Steph to Kemba Walker and I've even tried to watch as much footage of those sick ball handlers before my time like Earl the Pearl, Clyde Frazier, Tiny Archibald, and Norm Nixon but Iverson remains, in my opinion, the most devastating ball handler of all-time! He advanced what everybody before him did and set the blueprint for everybody after him. Before him, you didn't see somebody who had multiple combo isos, left to right crossover, stepbacks and go's, stepbacks behind the back, hesitation dribble fake, and the ability to just break you off real nasty with his iconic "banned" crossover, etc...He will always be the measuring stick but I don't think he will be surpassed because the NBA outlawed his signature move for palming but in the '90s and early 2000s for us kids growing up, we know the NBA was simply hating because he was making a mockery of the NBA's defense!

At 6'6" he probably wouldn't have had those same ball handles though. Part of his effectiveness was him being 5'11".
