Manu Ginobili was a San Antonio Spurs Legend, drafted in 1999 with the 57th pick, Ginobili would eventually make his way to the Spurs under their Head Coach, Gregg Popovich in the 2002 season.
Throughout his legendary career he would win 4 NBA Championships, a Euroleague title and an Olympic Gold Medal, all by mainly scoring with his dominant left hand.
He would battle with Hall of Fame legends such as Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony on a regular basis, and some would argue Manu was the best Shooting Guard in the whole world in the mid 2000s.
He was a key member of the Spurs core of Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and eventually Kawhi Leonard. His selflessness was one of the key reasons they were able to be so successful as a team, but the crazy thing is, on another team, Manu could have easily been a 30 point per game scorer!
Join me as we take a deep dive into all the ups and downs of Manu Ginobili's career!

Great video, great video, but you should add the 2002 world championship when Manu dominated all the games and showed everyone how his game was. Had he not got injured in the semifinal Argentina would have been the champion. That team was even better than the one that won the Olympics.

@@leonardofontana5963 There are soooo many great Manu moments I missed, I could have easily made this video over an hour and a half! But with these old games it's often hard to find high quality footage, or footage at all, which is why I had to exclude that. But you are right, super impressive performance and I thank you for your kind words.

You sound silly saying this especially since the creator of the video is lying, Manu never averaged more the 19 points a game so how did out score everyone? He isn’t even in the top 50 all time scorers and only averaged 13ppg for his career. SMH

Sigh. Jaylen Brown is right-handed. If Manu was dominating with his right (his off-hand), you've some semblance of a point or place to find a joke. I remember watching a game where he had the last ball with like 15 seconds left and SAS was losing by one, he scored a two and there were around 1.5 seconds left and the other team calls time out. The camera obviously focuses on manu after basically getting the winning shot and he says something to himself in spanish. I come from Paraguay, the neighbour of argentina so its pretty easy for me to read his lips. Stop for a moment and try to guess what he says. He says "me apure", which translates to "I hurried up". Imagine the level of perfectionism you have to have, there were less than 2 seconds left and he scored putting him team up in a playoff game I believe, but that wasn't good enough for him. This is only one of the many reasons why I admire this guy. One of the few famous role models both inside and outside of the court.

As a diehard Spurs fan, when I first saw Manu playing, I was like who the hell is this loose cannon! Take him off the court. Then I grew to love him and he became my favorite player of all time, right next to Tim Duncan and David Robinson. I've been a Spurs fan since the mid 90s by accident. I had a Spurs hat in 1994-95 and said, you know what this is going to be my team even though I was living near Boston. So I made the Spurs my favorite team and the Celtics my second. I'm so glad we suffered that horrible season and manage to draft Tim Duncan. This dynasty would've never happened and I would've never been able to enjoy greatness from these Spurs players. So it's been close to 30 years now since I've been a Spurs fan. It's been a rough road after 2015, so lets hope Wemby can carry the torch.

The only thing I hope people pick up on is what a great human being Manu is. I've never met him but have met people who have and have so many memories of him with the Spurs. He's funny, good natured and agreeable. We were blessed to have him and miss his essence on and off the court. Great video about a great man. Thanks Out of Bounds!

Manu is my favorite player, he plays with pure unbridled passion. There is no player who changes the flow of a game when they step on the court more than Manu. When he was an older vet and the other team would go on a run or the spurs would make a few dumb plays in a row, Pop would sub Manu in and he would instantly change the energy of the game. He somehow always knew the right pass to make or when to take a shot and he always made hustles plays to spark energy into his team mates.

05 championship series was a performance for the books. going 7 games against the Pistons was heartbreaking to see the bad boys 2.0 go down. Manu was the difference maker

I don’t think people realize the impact Manu had on the game. Even the players now have Manu in their game
