It is quite disheartening that Allen Onyema, a man who has done so much for this country to come on air and defend his credibility and reputation of his company. Like I keep saying, Nigeria is the only country that will run its citizens down unless you are a strong character. I wish they gave Allen Onyema more time cos he has alot to say. There is an uncomfortable tribal element to your point that you perhaps may not want to highlight, Nigeria would not treat Dangote like Allen, imagine if Innoson Motors is owned by a northerner the whole of Nigeria will be forced to by Innoson Motors. If Onyema was Fulani, Air peace would have been a national carrier. Just look at Dangote refinery been treated as a national treasure.

There is an uncomfortable nasty tribal element to the government treatment to Nigerian businesses, business owners of Igbo extraction are subjected to harsh unfavourable conditions and treatments. Dangote launched his refineries and it is treated as a national institution with all the monopoly given to Dangote. One can imagine if Dangote owned Innoson motors government would have slapped import duties on all other vehicles to promote their monopoly. If Air Peace is was northern owned Nigeria would have used Air Peace as its national carrier. Nigeria stinks to the grave with igbophobia!!

I think the problem is that Igbos have never been given the opportunity to be understood by some tribes in Nigerian: they just have their bad blood and insinuations about the Igbos for reasons best known to them. "Nigeria" or "Biafra" that is not the problem of an average Igbo man, what an average Igbo man needs is a thriving environment where he can build wealth and prosper as he also develop and bring prosperity to that place.

The BIGGEST scam, besides petroleum subsidy, ever perpetrated against developing countries is what is called the Bilateral Air Services Agreement (BASA). That's what he doesn't feel able to say. It's the agreement between countries over the right to admit foreign airlines into their airspace. You can understand why it's not in the interest of our corrupt leaders for Nigeria to have its own airline. The real billions are made by "selling" the sovereign landing rights to the highest bidder. And where do you think those revenues go???

But thank God, the strength to create wealth is of the Lord and not from man. Nigeria can do better.
