Coldest night i ever spent at deer camp was about 18 to 20 degrees. Might as well had been zero for all the difference i could tell. Even with the portable propane heater we had, there was no getting too warm. It was utterly frigid the next morning watching the sun come up over the mountains

When I started I used to try and remove step fractures with the notch-o-matic they always dive, lesson learned. 🙄

Too bad you can't put a drop of clear resin or epoxy or even super glue into that Crystal "flaw" to smooth it out without loosing the sparkle! It just adds originality to the piece to me! Perhaps 10,000 years ago that little sparkly spot might have held magical powers after the owner brought down his biggest kill with one mighty throw!

The close-ups show this stuff to indeed be nearly identical to the material I mentioned in a comment on part 1; it is from Arizona in an area of former ocean (Gulf of California) intrusion up the Colorado River for about 10-20 miles to the east of the river. There are grey cherts, whitish cherts and some agates, all ocean cobble material in that area. The "camo" stuff is really nice, but unfortunately not very common.

I copied one the other day but not to that standard ADENA-DICKSON type except that yours looks like one.
