Stafford Bowls Club STOP using chemicals on their green

Күн бұрынStafford have a great range of mowers to use; a C20 with cartridges, a Tournament and a Stirling battery mower. Recently they stopped using chemicals on their green to take a more organic approach.

The seaweed, sugars, dry patch treatment, all that he mentions are still chemicals, more they cut down on some of the synthetic chemicals they're using on the lawn. Interested in what the dry patch wetting agent is? & what they used to control Fusarium wilt.

I was thinking the same. Water is also a chemical.

I just took it that he meant they're not using the nasty herbicides, pesticides, fungicides etc that have highly questionable health benefits for everyone and everything. Organic as far as possible is the only health way to go IMHO

Better than most it's about minimising the damage to the soil and surrounding area by sounds of what they have changed.

Don’t understand. The interchangeables cartridges are not available on the allet tournament. So he has to use a liberty or stirling to make aeration done ?
