Damn, at the beginning, the volume of the guitar unplugged was unreal ! I really think that natural tone through the wood on the electric means a lot, I've never heard an electric so loud not even plugged in ? I've replayed it 5 times !
@kipponi
@kipponi 3 жыл бұрын
Yeah good electric guitar sounds huge even unplugged but not always. My custom JEM is quiter than mouse. It is made 9/2020 so woods are not so dry. And gotoh 510 tremolobar makes it quiter. But plugged huge sound.

I believe it has to do with how old that guitar is, i mean its been not a tree for so long, i would assume basically all the moisture has dispersed making it resonate more, i recently bought a 73 strat from the original owner and unfortunately/fortunately it went through a housefire, the owner said it was the most uninspiring guitar ever, the guitar didnt actually catch on fire but it got hot enough for the clear coat to bubble, and the owner said after the fire he picked it up and it was lighter than ever switch the strings on it and it sounded like an acoustic, plugged it in and it became his #1 strat within minutes, i bought it from him a few months ago and man its sounds great plays great the only thing that sucks is that the smell of smoke can never be taken away from that guitar, if you wanna see pictures ill give u my Instagram

Yes... there's an interview with Gary Moore he says whenever going to buy a guitar if it doesn't sing and ring loud unplugged so don't even bother turning the amp on because it's crap...lol
@kipponi
@kipponi 3 жыл бұрын
@@gilbertocruz1683 this is true by Gibson's with no tremolobars. Tremolobar eats acoustic volume in electric guitars ex.Floyd rose. Stracasters are quiter than Gibsons and less sustain. But with amplifier it equals volume differences of course.
