Joe came down to the shop before his show opening for The Rolling Stones at Lumen Field here in Seattle, and we love it when he stops by! We get into the details about opening the evenings show, a couple of amazing rare guitars we have in the shop right now (1951 Fender 'Nocaster' and a 1962 Fender Stratocaster w/gold hardware from Brian Ray), as well as the story behind his personal 1941 Martin 000-45 that was painstakingly replicated by Martin for the 000-45 Joe Bonamassa Signature Model!

Love Joe B. His collection is used and does not sit behind glass, and he shares it with the world on so many platforms so we can all at least see, and usually hear, what we could never afford.

Yeah I can’t afford any of those guitars -but that’s ok. There are tons of great guitars I’d rather have that I can afford and modify to exactly the way I want em.

OmFrkingG, that was just an amazing watch. Couldn’t afford Stones tix but had I known JB was opening I would’ve taken out a second mortgage. Might need to reconsider that to get one of those 45 Martins. Been a year or so, but I work a few blocks north of the Needle and might have to come in again just to see and smell the inside again. Love ECG.

I restore tube amplifiers to their original values of resistance and capacitor values. Pain staking work but not many techs go there for the original sound the amp made 50 or 60 or 70yra ago😊

Best Guitars I ever owned. 1; 1960s SG junior( £90) 1 p90...but that was 1978, Ibanez LP custom from the late 70s( £100), Fender cutaway acoustiic with pickup and broken headstock(repaired myself and eventually that guitar took me 1/2 way around this planet with pockets full)! Love for Music and the tools used to make music is just the begining of a true romance.

I love Joe's sense of humor regarding the absurdity that is all of those disgruntled people who endlessly whine about Joe's gear purchasing/collecting habits i.e. his 'supposed' "selfish" gear hoarding, as if that could or would, in any way, affect anyone else's lives in the slightest. It's just a truly bizarre phenomenon, to say the least. Anyway, great video and beautiful guitars (and amps). That Martin is to die for, absolutely stunning! That 62 Strat is of course, amazing!

Those 000-45s should be Brazilian for such a limited run. It’d be crazy expensive but anyone with the dough to buy this kind of guitar is probably not worried about the extra cost. If they’re gonna do it they should do it right.

I've had this idea for some time - to get Clint Eastwood to "sign" a Telecaster, but with his .44 Magnum. A hole thru a non-essential part of the Telecaster body. Tell me that wouldn't fetch $$$. Or not, what do I know.
