Sometimes arrogance is a defensive system people hide behind.

In their defense they're not wrong. The first half of the show is ALWAYS Gordon Ramsey intentionally over-booking his restaurant in order to stress test them. He only does it for the drama. And before anyone argues, Ramsey confirmed these as facts on video YEARS ago.

Cause Gordon isn't dumb. He knows when he its better to be quiet.

Andy seems to be pretty depressed with himself I think gordon knew about it firsthand and talked to him more carefully

Bc Andy actually can cook, but just wasn't right about his management style

I agree with the comments around mental health - Gordon has always been attuned to that but I also think it’s professional curtesy as this guy had a similar rise up the career ladder as Gordon.
