Awesome little tractor sir, the D10 and D12 series 3 are the two I’m still looking for. Around here all I can find are the early ones

They were a mainly East coast tractor from what I gather. Most of the sales were targeted to this area.

I have a D12 series III 1968 build in Oregon. High low trans, big tire option, doesn't jump gear, new rebuild engine with very little time on it. Desert tractor, no rust. If someone is interested.

The D14/D15 came with an 8 speed transmission with a power shift like the D17/D19. Though they are some D14/D15 with 4 speed as you described, I believe more had the power director 8 speed.besides that’s great video. Much appreciated

Thanks for the comment. To clarify I was just referring to the transmission. The D10/12/14/15 are all mostly the same design transmission wise. Yes the D14/15/17/19 has the Power Director for high/low operation for 8 speeds. While correct, it may be called 8th gear, I grew up saying 4 high.... :)

@@charlie175 I also grew up calling the speeds 4 high and 4 low. When you said 4 speed I was thinking more of the WD45 than than the D14. They were all great tractors except for the D14 lol. Great job on this video, really enjoyed it.

@@geou1606 We had a D14 for a few years as a supplement to our D15. Dad traded it when we got the 6060

@@charlie175 we have a WD45, D19 and a 180; had a D17 but that was traded in for the 180 back in the 1970’s. Also had a 190XT but dad sold that when downsizing.

How does it work with that tiller behind?
@charlie1753 жыл бұрын
It has plenty of power for the tiller. It needs a slower gear though sometimes for final till.
