I have listened to this song nonstop for 4 days so far. It brings up so much for me. Uncontrollable bursts of crying but I can’t stop listening. Looks like my childhood trauma has affected me much more than I thought. It is such a beautiful healing song. Thank you so much for this! Bless you! 🙏🙏🙏🙏

For sure. I second your emotion. I am a tail end baby boomer. Even though I feel ours was the best era for music and creativity; I still leave room for these new young, jewels and gems to be unearthed. I believe it's the originality that breaks through. No imitations or put on airs. Authenticity is key. The honesty and beauty of this young woman is so welcome and refreshing.

Congratulations Allison - I met you years ago in a workshops for artists, and later interviewed you for a magazine? I can’t even remember now - anyway it was apparent from Day One that you are a star 🤩 I’ve followed your career since then, and have seen how you have so openly talked about your sexual abuse as a child as well. I can see how your life and spirit has grown so much since those days. I hope that you always take care of yourself and thank you for your openness and honesty.

It's a definite truth for me and everyone who struggles with Trauma, I am sure. 'Sleeping in a cemetery was safer' I relate so much to this. I left the home and was safer sleeping rough. This has helped me out or the sinking trauma.

I started collecting 🪶 feathers on my journey thru Life, way b4 I ever heard this song or seen the video. I'm an artist I painted a large mural on my kitchen ceiling of a morning sunrise 🌄 , with a smiling faced 🌞 Sun. For the highlights in the pupils of the 👁️ eye, I made them in the shape of 3 stars ✴️ & a crecent moon 🌙 ... The same symbol that is on the back of Allison's jacket in the beginning of the video.
