Holy moly!!!! I did not know this show was posted. I used to look for it on youtube but never saw more than snippets. I had the pleasure of seeing ABB about 30 times between 1980 and 2014. This show was the best of them all, and a top 5 show for all bands in my experience. I immediately got the official live recording but have long wished to see the action on stage. I spent the entire show way in the back to have plenty of room to dance with the speakers placed near the middle of the field. This was one of my last acid trips. At first I thought the drugs may have skewed my perception of the music to make this show larger than life, but after hearing the recording, my conclusion was intact. This show represents a peek in what is possible when musicians put their hearts and minds together. The entire show is phenomenal. My highlights are Ain't Wastin Time No More, Leave My Blues at Home, Hot'Lanta, Warren's solo at the end of No One to Run With, It Stoned Me, and In Memory of Elizabeth Reed. I'll give the psychedelics credit for how I experienced the Drums after Eliz. Reed.

Johnny Winter, despite age and frailty, really burns it up on 'The Sky Is Crying'. Truly a legendary master, he displays no unnecessary flash or anything else, but just turns in a superb performance where he fits in perfectly with this large group of incredible musicians.

This show was my first music festival and also first time with psychedelic mushrooms. The stars were all connecting into constellations, and the drums seemed to be multiplying like bubbles on stage. I'll never forget it. Some lady looked at me and said "welcome to the show" like she knew exactly what i was experiencing.

This line up is the best since the original group! I wish Tedeschi Trucks was half as good as these guys. They play a different kind of music! Last time I saw T-T band I only enjoyed half of their songs. Their choice of some of their music is very different from this great group of musicians!
