These guys are some of the best performers in kpop, and I say that without bias. They're one of the most respected groups in the industry. A lot of younger idols look up to them and not just because of their seniority. They're just really freaking talented, well-rounded, and good-natured.

Seventeen is a band of 13, who had to re-sign their contract last year. They had to decide if they wanted to stay in the group or not. Of course, finding an agreement between 13 people is far from easy! They had a lot of doubts, and it took them quite a long time to agree on the terms of the contract with their agency. It was quite a difficult time for them. But they all decided to re-sign! After that, they released this song (that they produced + wrote) to say that they loved their group and were very proud of it !!

YESSS SEVENTEEN! They're such an incredibly talented group with great music and amazing performances, they're also really wholesome and hilarious and have such a tight brotherly bond! They're a self-produced and self-made 13 member group that debuted in 2015 who came from a small and bankrupt company, but with their hard work and dedication they made it all the way to the top and have broken so many records and really made a name for themselves over the years! Fun fact: Their newest comeback Maestro will be released tomorrow (the 29th) and will focus on the topic of AI's increasingly taking over everything but no program can replace human art and the emotions they convey.

Love SVT, brilliant music, amazing dancing, and also really funny [seriously these boys are wildly hilarious]. 1 Korean American [Joshua from LA], 2 chinese members [The 8 and Jun] and ten Koreans [S. Coups, Jeonghan, Hoshi, Woozi, Mingyu, DK, Wonwoo, Seungkwan, Vernon & Dino] . Technically Vernon was born in NY and has an american mother, but he grew up in S Korea from 4yrs old, so he thinks of himself as Korean. Woozi writes and produces by far the majority of their music, collaborating with long term producer Bumzu, and the other members [who all write songs]. This group is literally super. Check out ANY of their songs, there are no duds, even their debut [adore u] still sounds amazing. First song of theirs i ever listened to was 'don't wanna cry' [which is an iconic SVT track], followed by 'Clap', and 'Adore U'

Well this is going to be fun. I love introducing new people to Seventeen. It looks like many have already given you excellent info so I'll fill in around the edges. They are committed to each other, amazing music, creative choreo and their fans, carats 💎 They debuted in 2015 and have so much GREAT music and many MVs in a wide variety of genres. This particular song, Super, was quite an undertaking. No CGI. over 200 extra dancers, 4-5 choreographers, the song was shot outside an abandoned hotel with a new front built, wired for lighting and the fire panels were built also. I've yet to find out what the 'floor' was red but I do know it was early spring last year and cold. Thank you for your interest in SVT. You won't be disappointed. I suggest Dingo Killing voice for starters. And at some point a guide. Caratline has an excellent informative guide in 4 parts. I appreciate your reaction style. SHINee has a HUGE catalog combined. As a group, they started in 2008 and celebrating 16 years on May 25. Taemin's Guilty is awesome (Oct 2023), but all of his catalog is incredible, he was the first soloist. Jonghyun then Key, then Onew, the Minho, all entered the soloist party and produced some top notch work as well.

I am so glad you've decided to check out seventeen's work. They are truly the symbol of self producing idol. Woozi, the short guy, produces all of the songs, and Hoshi, they guy said you liked his voice, choreographs the dance. And all the hip hop team members write their own lyrics. It's been almost 10 yrs since their debut. But because they don't usually promote themselves in western media, they are not as well known as some other groups. However their performance and work ethic and quality definitely sets them apart.

There's a very beautiful meaning behind the song Sonogong actually refers to the Monkey King, a mythological character from Journey to the West. There are so many moves, lyrics that points to the journey to the West cartoon The hook step of sonogong where they put finger on their forehead is actually a move through which the character sonogong draws his power ... also the rap part where he talking about flying cloud is the way sonogong used to travel or something , Joshua's part mentions pole which is again related to sonogong and in the end they also gives tribute to the cartoon as stated in the lyrics "this is cartoons ending song Never in my life I would have thought of such concept .... they bring a fresh concept every single time

There is SO MUCH I could write here about Seventeen! There are 13 members, 3 sub-units (Performance, Hip-Hop, Vocal) that make up one group...so 13 + 3 + 1 = 17. Woozi aka VOBO or "Vocal Boss" (the member you see at the very beginning and again in the explosive end) is the Vocal leader and he writes/composes/produces ALL of their songs, and has done so since their debut in 2015. Hoshi, Performance leader, choreos a lot of their music and contributes ideas to all. (For the record, the member in all white and long hair you liked is S. Coups, both leader of Seventeen and of the Hip-Hop group). And if you thought the choreo in this video was crazy, just watch the dance practice video. Your mind will be BLOWN all over your living room wall! :) Nothing in the MV is CGI (abandoned hotel they converted into a backdrop, and it was extremely cold the morning they filmed this), and there were 250 back-up dancers! This song also won both MAMA's and Global Disc Awards "2023 Album of the Year", AND it broke ALL K-Pop sales records (over 5 million pre-orders) beating even BTS! In just 2023 alone, they sold over 11 million albums! Seventeen is THE MOST positive energy, uplifting, loving, caring, chaotic and hilariously funny, grateful and humble group in K-Pop, always contributing their songs and above all, their success to their fandom known as Carats (as in 17-carat diamonds). So now that you've found them, welcome to The Diamond Life! They are known as the Kings of Synchronicity due to their PERFECTLY synchronized choreos, which are considered some of the most difficult in K-Pop (or C-, P-, J- I-Pop, you name it!). I've been a musician my entire life (and I'm not a spring chicken!), performed in bands and even with the Atlanta Symphony once, so I've heard a ton of bands/groups, singers, artists, performers over the years; and I personally have NEVER come across a group so refreshing as Seventeen. They are my "comfort" group. Whenever I'm having a bad day, they always pick me up! I'm pretty new to Seventeen myself, with their Japanese release "Dream" (yes...they have a whole line of Japanese releases that are completely different in flavor/vibe than their Korean songs, and are beyond beautiful) being the first song I ever heard of Seventeen's. I was so spellbound with the MV and music, I HAD to know more; and once I went down the Seventeen rabbit hole, I decided to stay and don't EVER want to come out! Crazy hard-hitting choreo: "Hit", "Getting Closer", "Super", "Call Call Call", and their newest comeback (to be released tomorrow/Monday) "Maestro". I love all their songs but I first got into them listening to Love Letter from one of their really old albums. A good older song is Run to You, it reminds me of an anime intro, but it has a bit of a rock to it as well.

I definitely recommend more Seventeen. And while the song doesn’t officially drop until tomorrow, I most definitely recommend Maestro. From what we’ve been teased, epic doesn’t begin to describe it. The Killing Voice is good to get a sampling of some of their hits. Hot is a must watch. And then literally anything else. Their discography is so extensive that you could choose a half dozen songs and end up with a half dozen different styles. Also, watch choreography vids/dance practices. Then you really see how amazing performers they are.

So what’s really fun about this song and MV is that the whole thing is chock full of Dragon Ball Z and Monkey King mythology references, and if you have another listen and pay attention to the lyrics you’ll see it. If you don’t know anything about Son Oh Gong, the monkey king, whose mythology Goku (DBZ) was based upon, and/or you also don’t know anything about Dragon Ball Z, then never mind me, I’ll just be glad you enjoyed this song! 😅😂

BTS and Seventeen are both groups that came from really poor companies and are the reason for their companies to be that well reputed now. No matter how the media plays it out to be both groups have damn respect for eachother and their work. Both the groups are insanely hardworking, self produced, Seventeen members have themselves thanked BTS for opening the doors for all kpop artists to the whole world and BTS also appreciates the work ethic and the impact they have in the kpop industry. I'm an ARMY and I started listening more of seventeen's music during the BTS military break apart from BTS's whole discography, so I wouldn't call myself a carat cuz that would be a disrespect to them and their hardwork cuz I'll be an ARMY no matter what but I do appreciate their music and have mad respect for them, their hardwork and their fans.

I am ARMY but I checked Seventeen last year after two of their members appeared on Suga's talkshow Suchwita ( their main dancer Hoshi and their producer Woozi). They were very kind and nice on the show and from what I have seen of them sofar, all the members seem like that. They did some tik-tok challenges with BTS members after that. This song is all made by Woozi (the last guy who sang) and since he is a producer himself like Suga, they discussed the making of the song on his show. It was very interesting episode. Fun fact they even look like brothers 😅 Another song of theirs that I would recommend you is HOT (good song, nice vibe, awesome video and dance). ✌️

Seventeen Killing Voice please

SEVENTEEN is my ult group acc got into them from their variety show going seventeen but my first song was Anyone! Highly recommend The last member that was signing is Woozi he is the song writer and producer of the group. They are a 13 member group leader Scoups, jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, hoshi, Wonwoo, woozi, the8, mingyu, dk, Seungkwan, vernon and Dino.
