Melting a few ounces of Silver and Ferro-Niobium (Jewelery Grade 35%/65%) as well as a few pounds of lead (which exploded 😆) and also heating a 20lb crucible red hot as a side experiment. Experiment was a complete success and the alloy is beautiful and shiny like gold, extremely hard, as well as very heavy. In the future I will be casting bullets from it as well as a credit card knife.
