Another guy did this with a whisper quiet generator and legit dc converters. The company also says their converters can be ran in parallel to produce more amps. His motor runs full power.

Just watched this again. Wondering has the new heater held up? I’m thinking of putting one in a gmt400 yukon. Just don’t know where to mount it.

Yes, I still have it mounted. Had to replace the fuel lines, the fuel pump once, and a glow plug/gasket kit and chamber cleaning once. What I use is a hitch mount rack with a plastic truck box bolted to it (Packer 75 model) which I keep the battery, a 5 gallon diesel can which is the fuel tank, and the fuel pump. Here is the video:

Yall brothers doing it wrong. It was never ment to be smoked . Its too intense. If you grow the plant, pick 14 leafs, stack them together, put them in your cheek. Do not swallow the spit!!! For 15 ta 20 minuites. Then spit and chuck the leafs. Its waaay more enjoyable and lasts 30 ta 40 minuites. Its a tribal journey tool...trust me. What you are smoking is thee pure concentrated exstract. Its no fun.

"Falls" out of window? He literally *Climbed* out of it. I saw the title, promptly went "awe, the twist was ruined for me", and still had a hilariously pleasant surprise waiting for me. He literally propped himself up, clawed at the blinds, and then shoved himself through the fucking window, where he simply enjoyed the rest of his trip laying outside. The girlfriend getting onto his ass after is fucking hilarious just like dude I know we were tripping but that was just irresponsible man.. this is one of my favorite Salvia videos to date lmfao

Salvia has a unique action that works by deranging the circuit (claustrum) responsible for cortical consciousness. This suggests that it's more likely to cause mobility and confusion compared to serotonin psychedelics.

Cool video and surprising results related to condensation! Hopefully you have a very robust (fail proof) electrical supply to that 12V PS, especially with the unit located inside the heated space, an unexpected power loss would prevent the ECU from being able to run the cooling cycle and potentially result in an overheated ECU board. I see several of your replies in the comments indicating you have collected about a cup of condensate from the heat exchanger, have you ever tested the pH of the condensate? I've seen multiple comments online indicating that diesel condensate is very acidic, but I don't have any 1st hand experience of testing the pH of collected condensate from my heaters.
@ProlificInvention

Thank you for watching and commenting, made my day. Yes the power supply I use has been exceptionally robust, it is a variable 10amp, 0-48 volt power supply from china (link at end of comment) in fact I've ran 2 diesel heaters on one of them using my emergency heat cart invention/device when my furnace went out for 2 days in an icestorm. Ive also succesfully ran a trolling motor on both one and two of those supplies using my generator in another video, they are excellent. Many thousands of hours and hundreds of uses for those power supplies, highly recommend them. As far as the condensate on the diesel heater, I'll do the PH test and gather some condensatebin my next diesel heater video to find out, because now I'm curious. I'll have to include a look inside that radiator to show the result of thousands of hours of use on it. www.amazon.com/Converter-IMAYCC-Adjustable-Transformer-Regulated/dp/B0BRZW59P6/ref=asc_df_B0BRZW59P6/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=652406883519&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=16454846796251335019&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9017524&hvtargid=pla-2064748029356&psc=1&mcid=df52b7081fe23893b37eb59f7a1aba8f

I would say.... with the short length of the exhaust going from the heater to the radiator.... plus running the heater for a long period, you really shouldn't have any issues. I also think you have pretty close to the optimum size of steam radiator for the application. Anything bigger would possibly lend to more condensation in the system. I like it. A good test may possibly be this upcoming week with the temps in Michigan, along with the high winds.

Love the radiator, awesome idea! I have to imagine that really drops the final exhaust temp.
@ProlificInvention

Yes, it's between 90-100°f and holding alot of moisture. So much so that I hung an aluminum can off that output tube (slight downward slope, to drain condensation) and the can collected about 1/2 cup an hour of clearish water. It also nearly silences the output, which is also true for the generators I hooked to the same radiator in different experiments

You really shouldn't run the exhaust up hill at all. The exhaust should face down all the way thru. Condensation can form in the tube and wreck your heater. Some have found this out the hard way.
@ProlificInvention
@ProlificInvention 4 ай бұрын
Thanks for the input, however after 3000 hours and 2 different heaters ran through that steam radiator over 3 winters: haven't had any condensation issues. It has a drain that I periodically check just to be sure. Part of it is the 2ft run of exhaust pipe stays above 400 degrees, the cast iron where that exhaust ducts into gets around 350°f so condensation cant accumulate, and its a huge heat battery that stays hot for a couple hours after shutoff which continues to remove moisture.

Friend of mine has been speaking highly of alcohol stoves for decades. He uses them for bike touring and backpacking. On a recent bike trip to Australia his alcohol stove broke and he replaced it with an MSR Pocket Rocket that runs on isobutane. He now is praising his new setup that boils water in a fraction of the time it took with alcohol and as such uses far less fuel. We have been trying to tell him this for ever but he had to learn on his own. Does not occupy any more space because of the volume of alcohol he had to pack.

If you look at my newer video, I solved the issues and it works better than I had even imagined. The secret was the "carbon felt" plumbers welding material, it works fantastic. I'm actually working on another prototype that is smaller and 3d printing a base right now.

Exhaust should be reversed? How does the condensation get out? Exhaust inlet up top, end exhaust on bottom. Just a thought.
@ProlificInvention
@ProlificInvention 5 ай бұрын
The exhaust is warm condensate with the sound nearly eliminated. I've ran this for thousands of hours this way with no moisture accumulation. The exhaust entering near the bottom heats that cast iron to nearly 400 degrees which keeps the condensation as steam form.
@NordicDan
@NordicDan 4 ай бұрын
I would expect the principle is the same as with a vehicle exhaust. If it's only run for short periods and then shut off, condensation will form and over time corrode the components. But if it's run for long periods and the components are allowed to get up to their operating point, risk of condensation is minimized and the components will last much longer.
