I know Mackenyo can nailed it his character. Not because this is not his first time to played live action Japanese Anime from Knights of the Zodiac, Rurouni Kenshin, chihayafuru kami no ku, Fullmetal Alchemist & manymore. The reason is his a good actor, i saw his potential from pacific rim 2, Dragons of Wonderhatch & manymore jdrama & comedy series. He can played goffy, comedian, dramatic actor, protagonist & antagonist. His also good in action scene because he studied many martial arts and sword fights. That's why he nailed to played his role as Zorro from live action one piece.

The fact that many people hate this show because it's not the same level as the anime is insane. It's not a perfect live adaptation, but we gotta appreciate how well or their effort making this show. And Zoro fight scenes are so sick.

This live adaptation was one of the best made in anime history. Nobody really hates apart from the anime only extremists.

I actually really enjoy the mix of styles! I know we only got to see the 3 sword style twice, but I think his hand to hand combat is underrated. One of my favourite scenes is when he beats the Marines without drawing a blade; just using the sheath!

The fighting looks really boring, there is no power, the actor is still a mackenyou but in the Kenshin movie he fights with power, beautiful, strong and much faster, it's true that the director is different, the martial arts direction is different.

One thing that I can totally understand but still feel underwhelmed personally by is the majority use of two sword style. You can see throughout this video that Zoro only uses 3 sword style twice: once against Captain Morgan, and the other against Mihawk, and only with the ending move, whereas there is more use of 3 sword style in the anime. However, I don't fault the show for this. It's completely understandable because 3 sword style in real life is just impractical and dangerous. You're blocking movement on one side, and you can't really focus on breathing. There's only so much you can do trying to bring animation real life when dealing with real objects like swords trying to do impossible things like the anime version of Sanzen Sekai, where Zoro spins each blade separately in opposite directions (in real life, his arms would be cut off). With that said, the sword play is great.

Love this scene Mihawk uses his yuro (black blade) he knows he can't resist the santoryu attack coming from zoro. He's the master swordsman til' now in mangga zoro still hasn't defeat dracule mihawk.

You're a fool Up until the arlong arc most of Zoro skills is baseline human for one piece He doesn't have any real revelation in regards to his skills until he's defeated by mohawk and even then he was only spared his life on a whim
