I think it’s really interesting that season 2 shows Barbara as a prodigy. She’s incredibly intelligent, can lead teams well, and has an immense amount of potential as a fighter. Makes her paralyzing all the more tragic.

Batgirl was Barbara Gordon, till Joker shot her and left her paralyzed from the waist down, leading her to become Oracle I think she later took an experimental surgery, so she could move freely on her feet again, but she later decided to resume being Oracle and trained Cassandra Cain to be the new Batgirl, she also started giving Stephanie Brown more training

I don't know why they bother rebooting comics and then don't tell a new story. it feels like all the series and movies just tell the same story over and over. i think only the animated universe that went thru to batman beyond did something different with babgirl
