Bundt cakes are called Gugelhupf in German and perhaps you heard this before and were not aware that this is a German word.Germans have many delicious Gugelhupf recipes. The quark in this specific recipes gives the cake a light and moist texture.

Beautiful recipe. I loved your audio addition telling us some of the history and giving alternatives that one can use to customize to our own tastes. Our neighbour, Gudrun, is from the Black Forrest area and I would like to make this for her. She has often complained that it is difficult to find quark in Canada. I also would like to make this ricotta and lemon topped with a lemon glaze. Thank you for your time and effort put in to sharing this with us.

I make marble bundt cake very often, it is my birthday tomorrow and your upload is a nice early present. My favourite cake is Battenberg cake.

I am not 100% sure, but I kept min for 6 months in the fridge with no problems
