As a completely blind person with a conductive hearing issue, I need these kinds of headphones in order to actually hear a stereo recording. I have no doubt that these are even better than the previous generation of Aftershokz bone conduction headphones. Also, the water proofing means that I can finally brave the icy waters of a lake or reservoir while listening to a podcast. For years, I couldn't swim because I had holes in my ears do to tubes falling out. In 2015, I had graphs put in in order to close up the holes. I re learned how to swim at a friend's reservoir, and discovered that I am a person who loves being in freezing cold water, 50° or less. People think I'm crazy.

@@DroidLocks6971 I have The Aeropex. It turns out that my hearing issue was due to an overgrown malleus bone that a surgeon at UCLA was able to shave down. I still use those headphones because when you block your ears, they bang. Hard.

I am thoroughly enjoying my aeropex & my friend is loving their opencomms . They sound greats & even better if you chose to plug your ears . The calls on both have been crystal clear . I cant hype these enough .

I got these . Sound is impressive and more clearer sounding very natural sound. Bass is good but I preferred the thumping vibration of the older models .

i think there is study done somewhere, if you use bone conduction to learn a language, put them on and go to sleep, you will somehow subconsciously remember better or know just know the words and meanings. I suppose it goes same way for just what ever you listen too. Best not to listen anything to negative or politics/ heavy metal or other crap that affects humans mind bad. Advise plenty of self help material, audio books, pod casts or classical calming/chill music. Something that is positive when using these Aftershokz Aeropex..

My Trekz Titanium headset have died this week - RIP I loved them, I used them all night for the last 2 and a half years (a good innings) as I have adhd, insomnia & mild tinnitus. To date they have been the best bone conduction headphones I've tried/owned (i haven't tried the Aftershokz Air or this latest release from Aftershokz) I've tried/owned some other brands and nothing comes close. now that I'm not gonna be able to sleep until i get a replacement, maybe i should get a 2nd job working nights for a bit to pay for some new Titanium's or maybe even to upgrade to the Air's or these new ones 😀 hell maybe i should get the glasses one's to hide the bags under my eyes too 😂 Another great video & review as always!

@@allthingstech I'm already sweet talking the missus to let me buy them 😀 she's a light sleeper, so when I can't sleep she doesn't get a good night's sleep. if they last me as long as the Titanium's did then What's 20p for a good night's sleep 😀 Thanks for your reply

The ONLY review mention noise leakage. I am always intrigued about bone conduction, dont have one myself. But i tried them on in store and I was like wth, i heard music coming from my hand holding them, it like small speakers instead of bone conduction and i was wondering if it was a scam for this type of tech

I know the incoming sound is good on the Aeropex but can you verify an Amazon review saying the microphone on the Aeropex is poorer than the Trekz Air? I.E. When you call other people other people on your Aeropex, do they say you sound worse on their end compared to when you call them on your Trekz Air?

Was thinking of getting this, but Amazon reviewers say the UI beeps are very loud to the point where it hurts your ears, is this true in your experience?

I don't care for the big ass gap, the back of head! It looks like the inducer is sitting next to and touching your ear's targus? If you move in away do you still get the same results???
