Any guy within the top 1000, easy. Why does everyone feel the need to compare them, Women’s and men’s tennis are completely different sports. Would female sprinters be racing Usain Bolt, of course not. The same with tennis.

The top WTA players get beat often by their male hitting partners who are guys playing ITF’s or high level college. I know, because I know some of them. Could she compete with 500+ sure, but I don’t think she is beating anybody consistently until you get in 900-1000 range. The disadvantage she has on serve and court coverage is crazy.

Yeah it's just an awkward question every time. In sports where you can easily guess how it would go like swimming or running where you can just compare times it's obvious the gap between top men and women is huge. But in sports like soccer and tennis there is always a lot of awkward avoiding of this question as people would be upset that the #1 female player/team wouldn't be close to top #1000. Why such a fuss about it

You are right it is awkward, but it keeps coming up with tennis. McEnroe got loads of crap when he said Serena would be 700 in the world and he was being generous as she would be outside the top 1000 easy. I don’t know why people feel the need to compare in tennis. It is not like they are asking female sprinters to race Usain Bolt or WNBA players to play Lebron.

The guys was ranked 203 and his name was Karsten Braasch. He was coming off injury and was barely training. Smoked cigarettes, was drinking beer and just got off the golf course that morning. He beat them 1 and 2.

You are talking about two completely different things. WTA and ATP are two different tours. If women compete on the same tour as men then we can compare money. The only competition that men and women can theoretically compete as equal is chess.
