@@skibootdier9488 She's a real lady! Mark raised a real lady and not just a woman. Plus she's learning something that most millennials don't have a clue about nowadays. But over the course of time and once she inherits her dad's business she will be a highly desired lady that men will absolutely be interested in because she's not only learning the trade but she's also learning business skills and there's nothing more sexy about a successful woman that's also extremely beautiful, knowing her stuff in a man's field. If I was dating her I would treat her like a queen and would enjoy working on projects with her. She's amazing

Here is a TIP for the Show, LESS TALKIE...MORE WORKIE! Rather see Building, Restoring than side show Bob.

It would not be the show it is without all the details and people interaction, maybe you should watch something else since you do not appreciate a great show!
@rohe40772 жыл бұрын
@@chriscrystalhood6260 He's kind of right. It should be at least 50/50. Not 20(car building/story)/80(blank expressions on Derek's face, Josh's son in law antics. No offense. You could just describe the cars they come across with panoramic videos of the lot of them. The show would be a hit. Mark is a great host. His story telling of how the car became a wreck is great. The shtick of bringing the wrecks back to life is kinda cool. The ribbing is alright. Parsing his knowledge is great. You don't need anything else. Person to person storylines aren't what we came to watch.

Mark, your training of Allysa in the crafts of auto restoration reminds me of a man I once knew. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter, fisherman, camper, etc. He desperately wanted a son to raise in his image, but he was given a daughter instead. So, he just raised her like she was a boy. She was stunningly gorgeous, as is Allysa, but she was raised like a son. She could hunt, fish, do all the outdoorsy things better than all the boys in town, clean fish, cut up deer and elk, was dead-eye with a bow and arrow and gun. Every time I watch your series with Allysa being taught the craft of restorations, I think of my old friend. Keep up the good work. Your knowledge about MoPars is unequalled.

A shop is always shuffling cars around based on the stage they are in. It may appear that cars get snuck ahead, but that's not the case, it's just further ahead for a particular stage and yours might be in the body work or paint queue. You can't just work on one car straight through because you have so much wait time for particular stages, especially body and paint. So while cars in body and paint stages, other cars are being stripped for body and paint and other cars are being reassembled after body and paint.

I thought, man that’s a lot of battery problems. No! They were warming up their burritos on the intake manifolds. They’d place them on when they’d get to work. Turn them over at the 10 am break or eat them. I guess it depended on the size of the burrito. Then at noon mmmmmm get out the hot sauce and the burrito off the engine and c’omo se dice.

good example of the effects of stagnation in technological growth around the world when in the early 2000s most people would call a car from the 1960s a 40 year old car. fast forward 20 years and they’re still calling cars from the 1960s 40-50 year old cars even though they’re technically 60. I’ve heard it multiple times specifically the 1960s. When you talk about the 80s people tend to say 25-30 years ago it’s as if they don’t want to accept how old they are
