Almaty used to be the capital of Kazakhstan. Not anymore. The city was named Alma-Ata back then meaning 'apple-father'. But it's still the largest city and the most beautiful one. Almaty is surrounded by some amazing places. From apple orchards to canyons, and mountain lakes!

Тогда переименуйте Питер в Ленинград, а Екб в Сталинград. Я просто не могу понять к чему ты пишешь этот комментарий везде, город строили не только русские люди (но я не говорю что они его не строили, заранее, чтоб ты не начал говорить что я отрицаю что они его строили), а если посмотреть что из себя представлял Верный, и что из себя представляет Алматы в нынешнем его виде, это два совершенно разных города. Спасибо всем инженерам-строителям которые потратили свое время и силы на строительство этого города, но он уже как сто лет не называется Верным, и ты тоже, не застал времени когда он так назывался.

In Kazakhstan people buying apartments for mortgage, everything starting from phone to car is for debt, kazakhs tied to capitalistic system, comparing to Kyrgyzstan, where people work as a migrants and prefer to purchase something immediately with cash. And salaries are almost the same, and prices are high in Kazakhstan.

Я учился в Алма-Ате, сейчас конечно она называется Алматы. Только хорошие воспоминания. Охота ещё раз съездить туда, долековато от нас. Очень красивый город,там так тепло. Almaty is a beautiful city, indeed, but European cities, towns, villages are extremely beautiful as well. Have visited Hallstatt, Austria; Lucerne, Switzerland; Prague, Czech Republic; Venice, Italy; Granada, Spain; Kalambaka, Greece, etc. and I have not been disappointed yet. I love Europe!

wow what an amazing place, this is by far the best video I have seen about this beautiful part of Kazakhstan. I have been interested in going there for a while now. I love hiking in the mountains and after seeing this video you really sold it to me. Those drone shots were so beautiful. Going there is definetly on the list after seeing this incredible video. thanks!
