@@dantimber Yeah in my experience, you need to expose yourself to opportunities where you could meet women. Then, being content and happy about your life, you will emanate that energy and women will be drawn to you because you are positive and happy. I've had most success and found myself fall in love with women this way, the best ones always came naturally. Sadly, been heart broken two times in adulthood. Going long term with someone requires a lot of maturity on both parties. Last time I ended up heart broken was because we were incompatible, she was "woke" and I'm conseravtive. I accepted that she had different opinions than me, but she could not do the same for me unfortunately. Other than that we had amazing attraction, laughter and humor, and exciting intellectual discussions (all my top priorities).

I'm still human and still desire connection, but I'm really not sure what that will look like for me from here on out. I'm not saying looks don't matter, but if they're not feeling it, it's more likely a behavior thing. "Confidence" is just situational competence. I'm 55 and still a virgin, I don't have the looks women like.By the way my body is in extremely good physical condition and I live a very healthy lifestyle. Women can not be manipulated just because you act like a confident alpha male with a good body. It doesn't matter how much confidence a man has in himself, if the women is not attracted to that guy she will definitely not have sex with him. over the last 41 years I have been rejected over ten thousand times. I am 100 percent confident in myself and a homeowner with a stress free life. The point of my comment is to say that hookup culture does not work for average looking guys. That is a fact!

Great analysis. I was in a 'common law' marriage for most of my 30's. I'm 57 now, successful, and never married. I put too much emphasis on money and success and regret it. Knowing what I know now I think it's a mistake for most guys to reject women out of hand. If you find the right one take a chance and go for it!

I could get a girlfriend. Unfortunately, I don't want to jump through one hoop. At 52, a woman can't really add a lot to my life at this point. I've been married, had kids, what's the point after that?
@agatastaniak7459
@agatastaniak7459 3 ай бұрын
Well, if you reduce a woman to marriage and kids then fair enough, if you have no need for either marriage and kids then obviously you don't see any "added value" in it. In my view having a romantic partner is about much more than marriage and kids but I can say this being a woman who never was especially "marriage" obsessed and who cannot have kids, so....

I'm 45 and am still a never-married single with no kids. I always struggled with women, partly or largely due to mild autism which wrecked my confidence at a young age. I support myself ok, I work out, I take care of myself, I have a couple of friends, but I just never developed the art of flirting and escalating things or relationship skills, as I've never been in a LTR. There is also a lack of opportunity to even meet single desirable women these days, and apps don't work for me. Life just feels empty and unsatisfying. At this point, I'm grappling with how to cope with the high likelihood that I'm going to grow old alone, while still holding on to a fragment of hope that my luck could turn.

Jump off the cliff and make it work. If we can do it anyone can.. Only problem I really have with it is the fact the years went so fast. Don't be afraid work hard buy half the town then stare at it all and wonder what to do with it all. We been in and out of love at least a hundred times. Mountains and valleys that is where the wisdom comes into place. Truth is we need each other and a team of hard headed workaholics we stand. If one works hard enough you won't have enough energy left to fight and argue. One day I will be ready for all of this..lol...Oh wait it already happened... To love someone is to be willing to always put them before yourself. Hay second place ain't bad... it's dangerous,,It's thrilling,,,It's crazy to say the least. I am up for it again.. Oh wait shit I am worn out and beat up..lol..I would marry her again in a second and do it all over again. lol

I have had one night stands and flings here and there but a consistent serious girlfriend was only one in my 35 years of living and even that was questionable with that situation. I've already come to accept that I'll be alone forever and truthfully, I prefer it now at 35 because I've been burned too much in life and prefer having peace over having a woman in my life.

I'd say a lot of people will be on their own whether by choice or not, the modern world has really gone downhill, I think the internet was just too much for a lot of people, especially women, men usually get a reality slap real quick, where women can live in delusion. Psychologists will say, just because the problem is in someones head, doesn't make it any less of a problem, and here we are.

I'm 39 and I've been single since I turned 19. I had some opportunities, but it wasn't the right woman or the right time for me. I'm a pretty decent looking guy and when I actually get out there, someone usually has interest, so I'm not really concerned about meeting someone if that's what I want at some point in the next few years. The difference for me is that because I've lived this way for this long, I know that I'm just fine by myself, so I have the ability to walk away at any point which is a strength/power you can't buy. It's one thing to be in your early 20s and not be with someone, it's another to have been with women and also been single for 20 years. You actualy have the experience and the perspective that a 22 year old guy doesn't. So, for the younger guys out there, if you're struggling or putting on that brave face like you're okay, but you actually aren't, just know that you'll be fine. Get to know yourself. You'll be better for it.

I used to view dating as a “try everything out” and because of this attitude I hurt beautiful women. I spent my 20’s having fun and exploring women/the world that I lost sight of what really mattered. Now that I’m about to turn 30 I wonder if I did things right. Having lost a woman I loved dearly due to my own poor choices, I am now facing the possibility of not dating or finding someone who I can fall in love with. At this point I couldn’t tell you if it’s better to spend your youth alone or dating around. Perhaps the middle ground is the best; finding a great person and holding on to them. But this isn’t always possible for a lot of us

Every adult is fine on his or her own. That's what being an adult is about- you can live an independent life. Relationships other than family are always a choice. And people have no obligation to always make the same choices like other people around them. So you may choose to live alone or with someone and it's really matter of your own preferences. All situations have both pros and cons. None of such choices is perfect.

You are right about the age gap. Tried it. Wasn’t a huge age gap. Thought an older guy would be more mature, but I was wrong. It has a whole another set of challenges. It wasn’t just that you can’t relate, but eventually you’ll outgrow each other. They’re set in their ways, which is fine. However, it can be very exhausting. Like something as simple as going somewhere. Doesn’t have to be fancy, becomes a hassle. Or trying something new. I’m personally not a sit down an expensive restaurant type of gal. I prefer going to a cafe & having a light breakfast on the weekend. Or taking a little road trip to flower festival. Berry picking. Horseback riding. Hiking. Photography. ETC. However, I noticed most guys prefer the expensive restaurant girl even though they complain about it. They can show her off. Just like those women can show him off. It is what it is. Everyone just needs to stop lying to themselves. If you're into that. Cool. Also, by the time you meet him, he's been with certain type of females. So there is absolutely nothing you can add to the equation if you're serious. I know most would think it’s the exact opposite. But it’s not. How I see it is, he’s older so he probably thinks he has it figured out. Which is fine. However, what can I add? Nothing. Ain’t nothing wrong with that. Nor does it mean I don’t have something going on. We just don’t want the same thing. I’m sure he’ll find what he’s looking for. There is no “world” to enter. In the end, similarities is what keeps people together. This doesn’t mean I wouldn’t pursue an older man at all, but I definitely would have my own thing going on & his age would have 0 correlation to maturity.

When I was 33 I dated a 21yr old girl and there is such a big disparity in age and maturity such that you really don't have much in common and the relationship just cannot last. At least it didn't for me and I doubt it does for most guys. Girls that age are very immature despite outward appearances and change their mind virtually every minute .

I can reasonate with that. At 41 I was involved with a 22 year old woman who ended up a wolf in sheeps clothing. She suddenly without warning ghosted me and in the end I found out she was knobbing another bloke simultaneously. I still hate her guts even two years after it all ended very badly

I'm 31 and decided in the last 2 years or so to start back dating, I've only had 1gf in my life when I was younger and it only lasted a few months. Dating was never a priority for me, I found it to be too time consuming and it slows me down in my career and life. Once I finally started working and made smart investments I finally started dating again. It was challenging at first but I kept going and I finally met my future wife, getting married this year. I think it all depends on your priorities, don't worry too much about time but also don't neglect getting into relationships and try to filter out hoes.

Guys if you're 31/32 you can still meet a woman within your 30s & have kids by 40/early 40s & live a good life to watch them grow into adulthood. You're not facing "being single forever" as If you're a woman with a biological clock. Early 30s is young for a guy. Also by 35 you won't be limited to an unattractive geriatric 35 year old woman or a immature 21 year old. You can meet women in their late 20s (preferably anyways) who you still find attractive & can have kids with because she isn't geriatric. Make yourself as competent as possible & vet these women properly. This video is too black & white, Don't think the guy on KZfaq is ALWAYS right.

Committing to a late 20s is bailing them out from the CC. Personally, I won't even consider anyone over 22, and even that's pushing it. If society doesn't want to guarantee that for me, that's okay, I'm fine doing my own thing.
