My dad is a trucker and this video reminded me of the days he used to take me with him. I always loved sleeping in there. Once he even managed to get some free time and surprise me by taking me to the Disneyland with a truck. Those are my best childhood memories.

Im from India and i need to admit the truck drivers out there in Europe are far more advanced not only in terms of technical things but also hygiene, food and shelter. Here, truck drivers sometimes sleep underneath their trucks ( near the tyre) during the summer cuz the cabin completely boils up . They dont have such advanced features in their trucks to cook their own food so they have to be dependent on restaurants which charge very high fees. Lastly, majority of drivers work for a truck owner who pays them very less wage in other words they exploit them. But then there are some similarities, at both the places truck drivers do stay away from family and in their own way , life is difficult. I respect each and every truck driver out there cuz its your hardwork that our life is comfortable. Thank you so much ! 💓

You are right bro... They are making good amount of money than a software engineer. But because of the acts they do here we are not giving much respect and value to them... Almost 90% of them are rash driving making around 80% of major accidents. Then about the hygiene they even sleep under the trucks also..

Yes, started in 1991 and medically retired in 2018. One of the best things I did was start fixing my food in the truck. When they started putting refrigerators in trucks it helped a whole lot because I could store more. My first week out from the house I had home cooked and if I stayed longer I'd shop at Wal*Mart, etc. If you park at the Pilot in Nashville, TN, or is it a Love's now, walk to the right to the traffic light where Krystal is and go left. Down on the right is a Piggly Wiggly and US Post Office. It's not that far and the exercise will do you good.

My dad is a trucker too. As a child I didn't understand why he's not at home with his family, but my mom always told me he's working abroad. When I was 14, it was the first time he took me with him through the whole Europe. It was amazing even I didn't know this way of life. I learned languages, cultures, some meals and I made new friends in every country. We're in contact till now, it's 6 years already. He took me 3 times with him, then I understood that if there weren't people like him, we couldn't buy anything in shops. I'm so thankful for my dad and thanks to truckers I can buy a candy in shop. I always try to help truckers on roads in ways like I'll give him some space to leave the gas station. Everyone is angry because they don't want to drive behind the huge and heavy truck, but I know truckers want to use every minute to work for the time, which will be blessed at their homes with their families. BIG RESPECT FOR YOU GUYS❤️❤️❤️

Hello 👋 How are you doing ???
@KingBanter
@KingBanter Жыл бұрын
My Dad wasn’t a trucker. He was the proud owner of six strip clubs around Florida and Georgia and SC. . A couple of them were on I-95 and were open 24 hours so they were essentially more like Truck stops. All the drivers I met were decent, hard working guys. Who also enjoyed dropping their loads all over the east coast and beyond. Ah the good old days! 😉

@KingBanter
@KingBanter Жыл бұрын
@@JJ-te6tx Thanks 🙏 My man, I wasn’t expecting a comment like that. To be honest it was so long ago that I don’t think I can help you out very much, it was from 1995 until around 2008. We basically moved from Ireland to Florida in 94 and he had sold out of his businesses before he went over. He was a pretty wild man so when he got a job as the manager of one of them near st Augustine he was in heaven!! The owner was from Georgia I think and his father had set them up in the late 70’s . The guy became very good friends with my dad but sadly he died of a sudden heart attack in his early 40’s and his wife sold them to my dad. It was an amazing time for me because I was like 14 years old hanging out, playing pool with hot strippers and having beers and they all treated me so nice to get on my dads good side probably! But they were all actually nice girls too in fact! One day A dude who was sleeping in his car and he asked my dad if there was any way he could do anything to earn a few bucks for gas /food etc. so he got him to do some landscaping and painting but long story short he was One of the craziest guys I’ve ever met in my life he was actually on the run! AWOL from the Navy and he became the chef and then he was the night manager but he used to take me out whenever I’d be over there and he was one of the craziest characters i ever met in my life! He was constantly sipping bourbon armed to the teeth and like hunting in rivers with a bow and arrow and stuff ! very funny guy! Anyway he always treated his staff with kindness and respect, customers too unless they stepped out of line which rarely happened and the local cops were all cool. But he was strict about any sort of illegal activity on the premises but what anyone did on there own time elsewhere was not a concern. Anyway I know that probably won’t be any real help but I wish you the best in your future and hope it all works out well for you mate Cheers

"Without trucks the world stops". Man, really? We have trains and planes that support transporting goods too. But not even just that, what do you think we did BEFORE trucks? Before trains? You know that some stupidly big things happened before we even discovered combustion right? They just used to use horses instead. The great 'land trains' etc. Not disputing that truck drivers are key in economic infrastructure, but to say "the world would stop" is just stupid. You think that we would all revert to canibalism or something? People would just have to make due with less variety less often, thats all. Considering alot of stuff is traded for commodity and variety each country or region would do just fine by itself. Like... America was colonised without the use of truckers, and Romans built roads specifically to transport goods to armies in the field reliably. The world would keep on spinning like it always does, and everyone would be bummed out that theres no Amazon, but food etc, you would still be 100% fine.

You can really cut down on the amount of dishing soap you use. That stuff is way stronger than most realize! Even a third would still be too much for your pan and cutlery. It's not much per bottle, I know, but you would be saving in the long run

For dishwashing, get a spray bottle from the dollar store and put in a little dish soap. Fill rest of bottle with water. Then when you're ready to wash, just spray onto your dirty dishes and then scrub and rinse. This is more economical and saves time.
